I have been on Lakeland patient for about eight months. And my experience has been positive with them. I get my supplies via an online portal so I can order anytime i want at my convenice. (Don’t need to call during business hours and wait fir a call back.) it even tells me what supplies I am eligible for so I don’t order what my insurance won’t cover some portion of at that time. I am excited that in April they are going to an online payments system. I will be able to pull my bills and payments fir there. I don’t like putting my credit card number on a piece of paper and mailing it in so this will be so nice now that I don’t have to call in to make a payment when that is necessary.

Went there by referral. I was told I would hear from them to get an appointment with the doctor for the results.
10 days later received a call from CPAP technician saying that I had orders to get a machine. I said that I have not talked to the doctor how could I get a machine? I wanted to purchase the machine from another company. I was told that i had to meet with the doctor first before I could get the order and the prescription. When I asked why do I need to see the doctor before I get the machine if the tech is calling to say I had an order. Was then told there is no order.
My perception of this was that I had to purchase the machine from Lakeland. I finally talked to the doctor directly and the orders have been transferred. From the onset of arrival at the place I had a bad feeling in my stomach the behavior i experienced just confirmed for me my suspicions.

Great place if you like a facility that no one answers the phone and usually takes a day to return your call. I have been a patient for a month and had the understanding that my results were being monitored vie cloud transmission and would be informed if my treatment needed adjustment. Just got a call today (a month into treatment) wanting to know what machine I was given and to provide the serial number of the transmitter so they could actually look if I have even used the machine. Are you kidding me? Who runs this place. So for all I know I have not been using the right setting for a month. I just want to return the unit and go to a reputable sleep center.
