Lou’s Custom Exhaust

Purchased a 3 inch stainless pipe from the header to my muffler about two years ago, a year after the installation I put my car on a lift for the first time, the pipe was rusted and magnetic. I have never seen stainless that rusted like this, I heard on very rare occasion stainless could be magnetic but I’m very sure this isn’t one of them. When I called and complained that I had payed a extra 150 dollars for stainless and was given galvanized steel nothing was done for me. And today my muffler fell off because the pipe has already completely rotted through. It is two years old. Do not waste your money here they take advantage of people who don’t have access to their own lift. I’m sure they pocketed the extra 150 I payed for the stainless pipe.
Can’t stress enough how angry I am I got screwed out of a stainless pipe because now I can’t even get a weld to hold the muffler because the galvi pipe is so rotted it infuriates me its fallen off twice now

Stopped in this morning to get a estimate on my exhaust system for my Jeep Wrangler. I was expecting it be around 1,000. They gave me of a quote $ 350. They took it in and did while a waited. Couldn’t have been happier. Awesome shop and great people. Would never go any place else. Highly recommend.

Went there today to have my muffler replaced. I did not have an appointment and they were slammed at the time but they still took me in as soon as possible. Every employee was very polite and proffesional and they were very reasonable when it came to pricing. Will deffinately go back and highly recommend them to anyone.

On Saturday my exhaust fell just a bit apart on the way from West MA to East MA. We tied it up with a bungee and prayed a lot til we made it home. Being new to the Plymouth area we had no idea who to call. So I took a chance showed up at Lou’s a bit after 8am, and an hour later I had a new muffler welded in place and my tail pipe back where it belongs for under $ 300. They even gave me options — I could have forgone the muffler for now for around $ 100, but it was going anyway, so it made sense to just replace it. But I was grateful for the option — it’s nice to have choices.
Fast, professional, honest guys who are not out to convince you to replace your entire exhaust system just because you dropped your tail pipe. This is a novel experience for me, and I WILL be back at Lou’s the next time we need exhaust work!

My Rav4 was getting loud, i knew that, but not enough to be concerned yet. A different concern brought me to Hyannis Toyota. They quoted me $ 1700 to repair the exhaust (thieves). Apparently replacing every part was the cure. I declined. Then my exhaust got really loud a few weeks later. Time to address it. I rumbled up to Lou’s and asked when would they be able to take me. The employee came out, went under my car said it was the muffler, said he would order it and come back at 1:00. He’d have the muffler and would be able to fix it. I arrived back at 1:00, they took my keys and pulled it right in and cut out the bad muffler and welded in a new one within 30 minutes. A freakin mazing service. I left with a perfectly quiet car and paid $ 325 compared to the gaffing the Toyota dealership tried to give me. I’ve known of by word and seen stickers on other vehicles for Lou’s Custom Exhaust. Having now dealing with them, I’m a huge fan! Thank you guys. I’ll spread the word.

Lou’s Custom Exhaust is THE PLACE to go if you have any problems with your car’s exhaust system. My Accord’s midpipe fell off, had a leak near the muffler, they fixed it in a timely manner, and it only cost me $ 125. On top of that, I had attempted to get my o2 sensor out of my rusted cat-​converter a month ago with no luck, I asked if they could get mine out and replace it with the new one I had already bought, not a problem. My car sounds great, and runs even greater for the first time in years. If your car has an exhaust issue, don’t second guess it. Bring it to Lou’s!

Went there to get some custom exhaust work done, after having a horrible experience at a the one in Medford I looked around and saw great things about these guys. location wise they were farther out for me but it was worth it, fantastic service and friendly staff

The other week, I could tell that something was up with my exhaust system as my car was running louder than it did normally. As soon as I showed up, Tony and Jim put my car on the lift and diagnosed the problem as a bad clamp. They torched out a section of pipe and replaced it for $ 62 out the door. They did not try to sell me on a new catalytic or muffler as they were not needed.
I had heard these guys have a strong following — and now I have seen why. Clearly, they know the regular stuff, but also the performance enhancements for top-​tier vehicles as well.
Regardless of the vehicle you drive, I would highly recommend.
