The Home Depot

I went to Plymouth today to purchase a partial section of Sheetrock. I needed to patch something on a construction job I was working on. I was met with an attitude from one store employee from the start. First off with did you need help or something? No I thought I’d just go ask an employee to find someone that worked in the lumber area and be told they are on their way then I’ll just stand here like an idiot wasting my time and my customers time while I wait. I ask if they have partial sheets of Sheetrock or a piece of scrap 4 foot by 2 foot. He says we don’t do that here and we aren’t equipped to cut Sheetrock. You’re not equipped to cut Sheetrock? You don’t have the time to use the tape measure on your belt and the utility knife in your pocket to cut me a piece of 4×2 Sheetrock. Nice customer service. I’ll start getting my building materials from Lowe’s or I’ll pay the extra money and shop my local hardware store. Not coming back. Really nice job guys. The only person that was helpful in this whole situation was Ashley the cashier. Thank you to her for being kind and courteous

We have recent had impeccable customer service at this location, while trying to get a deck built. Tony– in the pro area, was beyond helpful for my husband when buying materials — we actively seek him out b/​c we know we will get great help and he really knows what he is talking about– saved us some $$$ by making great suggestions! Randy helped me get some lumber cut (to fit into my small car) today– and again, I received outstanding service from him! Thanks Home Depot for the great professional customer service employees!

Once again, Minnesota falls down.
I have been to this location multiple times and NEVER received help from any of the staff. they seem to do everything they can to avoid assisting customers. I have even given them multiple chances to engage me by walking past them in their aisle multiple times circling round and round and giving an «I can’t find what I need look.» They will either just go about their business (E.G. stocking shelves or walk in the opposite direction). I guess this is the best work ethic that you can get in Minnesota. Good thing there is so little competition for work or these people would be out of jobs.

This is my go to Home Depot!
This store is laid out well and clean. The employees here are fantastic and always willing to help, make recommendations, and usually save me time!
In the spring they have a large garden selection and they add a green house in the parking lot. I would recommend you get there early as the plants usually are over watered or not at all so they don’t exactly look healthy. The prices are fair too.
I love going to Home Depot as you never know what project you will start next!
