Spectrum Quest Photography

I’m adding Spectrum Quest Photography after having two really stellar experiences recently.
Photographer, former Special Forces Colonel and author Gerald Schumacher, is not only an extremely focused, skilled and hardworking individual, but super energetic and fun to work with. Though such a highly respected, professional, and well-​traveled man, he is so down to earth, vibrant, and funny!
I have worked with a number of other photographers who either didn’t have the same eye for detail or composition, or weren’t as thorough at giving direction, or just didn’t have one half his personality. He is tireless and a real perfectionist, but also super efficient.
Both of my shoots, for an upcoming calendar — California Gun Girls — took place under difficult lighting and environmental conditions, but we actually finished ahead of schedule both times and came away with lots more great shots than we’d expected.
I really hope I get the opportunity to work with Gerry Schumacher again, and on a side note, he is also a hell of a writer. I’m looking forward to reading his books on his personal military experiences after having some great conversations before our shoots.
