Specialties

Welcome to the Wolf Cove Inn, an unforgettable, relaxing and romantic Bed and Breakfast set on the shores of Tripp Lake in Poland, Maine. Freshly renovated, we celebrate the beauty of Maine with a palate of window, wall and highlights that will magically transport you from the rocky Maine Coast to the grandeur of the Western Mountains of Maine and the serenity of the Maine Lakes Region.

As our guest you will delight in a complementary Wolf Cove Inn three-course gourmet breakfast in our tranquil dining area overlooking Tripp Lake. Then step outside and breathe in the fresh air, enjoy the lush gardens, the majestic pine grove and our extensive private shorefront on Tripp Lake, where serenity abounds.

Visit the Wolf Cove Inn, our authentic Maine Lakes Bed and Breakfast, and wrap yourself in the beauty of nature’s gifts. And if you can’t imagine enjoying a vacation without your four-legged best friend, then bring Fido along in any of our pet friendly rooms!

History

Established in 1995.

The original part of the Inn was built in 1894 as a private residence by the Wolf family (hence the naming of Wolf Cove on Tripp Lake.) From the 60s until early 70s the lower part of the residence operated as Lobsterland on the Lake, a seafood restaurant. In the early 70s the property was converted back to a private residence. Then in the mid-90s the building was expanded and converted to a Bed and Breakfast. In December of 2013, Sue and Roy Forsberg purchased the Wolf Cove Inn and immediately closed it for a five month renovation of more than 80% of the Inn. The Wolf Cove Inn reopened for business on May 15th, 2014 and has been receiving high praise in social media from our guests.
