Went last nite, I’m very picky person, can’t take any MSG at all, this is a very rare BBQ restaurant has the best 7 star taste! Just moved back from ARCADIA to Diamond Bar and stop by Walmart, I’m lucky to get back to my old favorite kitchen here, so delicious!

The food is great. My first time here last week and I loved it! The person that took care of me was phenomenal, he cared about my opinion and gave me the best customer service ever. Definitely going back here :)

As far as I can see, this place is under new ownership. I ordered two half trays of food from the guy that appears to be the new owner. The catering menu indicated each ½ tray will have 20 – 25 servings. I asked the owner to confirm the amount of servings and he asked me how many people am I trying to feed. That shouldn’t matter because the order is in a pre-made tray that should provide 20 – 25 servings as the menu indicate. I paid for a ½ tray with BBQ beef and BBQ chicken. Also ordered a ½ tray of spam musubi. We got home and opened the trays and discovered the beef/chicken tray was ½ full with vegetables beneath the thin layer of meat on top. The tray barely had enough servings for 10 people!!! To top it off, the beef and chicken was dry and lacked flavor. I will never return to this place ever again!

I’ve never really been one to leave a review, but I thought it was necessary for the occasion. So I live pretty close to this place and haven’t really like the food so I would rarely go here. However, they got new owners. It Is extremely apparent, especially with how they are trying to market their food and bring in new/more people. Well for one, I’m on board! There food has gotten substantially better! Not only that but the new owner is supper friendly and remembers me everything I come in. I usually order the buy one get one free chicken bowl and my woman gets the fried rice shrimp status. So good. It’s the perfect place I’d you don’t have time to cook and want food that tastes pretty good. I really hope this place succeeds and will continue coming here myself! P. s. they have boba!!! Buy one get one free! Pros: good food

Drive 1 minute further for the legitimate Hawaiian bbq on rio rancho road. My mom was trying to pay the lady and handed her 40 bucks. The cashier said thag she received 20(???). My mom told her to check the cameras then she gave my mom the change. The food is mediocre, and my chicken came raw. I had to microwave it for 2 minutes. Not worth

I don’t normally give negative reviews. Being a local I hope for the surrounding business to succeed, it’s good for the economy and home values. But this place deserves one. Raise your hand if you know what Loco Moco is… Honolulu Hawaiian BBQ keep your hand down! We ordered Loco Moco EXTRA gravy. The lady served it with container closed and said«Loco Moco with extra gravy». Opened it and NO Gravy. Sad thing is this exposed how thin the burger patties was!!! Asked for gravy which took forever to get and when she served it, it was watered down and flavorless! The macaroni salad was just elbow pasta and mayonnaise… HHBBQ Are you even trying?!? They are obviously sacrificing quality for a profit. This is not Hawaiian food.

Picked this place cuz they had family combos. We each take turns at work to buy food for the crew so I needed lunch by the bulk haha Was kinda skeptical at first to order from here but glad I did cuz everyone at work loved it and asked where I got it. Ordered 3 family deals with Chicken Katsu, Shrimp, BBQ chicken, BBQ beef, and BBQ short ribs. Only downfall was the Katsu cuz by the time I got the food back to work it was kinda soggy :(The lady threw in free egg rolls and tons of fortune cookies. even tho my fortune was blank. Yes. :(She even called when it was ready to let me know, either that or she wanted to make sure we weren’t skipping out on a 100 dollar order. Delicious food! We will be ordering again soon

They are going down hill, for a while now, even the ingredients seem to be of lower quality, just ordered bbq beef, and half the beef was pure fat, not the first time either

They’re a little on the slow side. Ordered the chicken katsu and Bbq chicken chow mein. It’s really nothing to write home about, just average for me.

This is a nice family-owned business! It might not be mainstream like Ono Hawaiian BBQ, however their service and food is unmatched!

I barely have Hawaiian BBQ, coz I am a true Taiwanese and Chinese, surprised that they seems already changed the ownership or partnerships, and the food is sooooooo good, so juicy especially not too salty and not too sweet! Healthy and fresh!!! I am a busy working woman, I guess it is my the other kitchen sooner. By the way they just remodeled a little while ago, it looks like so Tropicana style which was my stress released spot, too. The worker Amy always opps me with her sweetest smiles. Actually I don’t really mind to wait or fa little bit while the store was a little bit crowded, too.

Eww. Honestly worst food I’ve ever had in CA. I got so sick after eating from there. Even thinking about their calamari makes me want to puke. It smelled so off and I should’ve took a sign from there. EWWW

This place is in a convenient spot(right between Winco and Walmart). The food is good for a fair price. The Hawaiian BBQ plate is $ 6.29 and comes with a good amount of meat, two scoops of rice, one scoop of macaroni salad and vegetables. The bbq chicken is not AMAZING but good for the price. There isn’t a ton of seating, but its enough for the amount of business that they get. They have a special going on that if you spend more than $ 15, you can get 4 vegetable egg rolls or a boba milk tea free. One or the other option.

Ordered the Loco Moco … wasn’t so loco for it … First of all it is supposed to be over a bed of rice not vegetables with 2 scoops of rice on side … My son got fried shrimp … shrimp serving was great, but it was burnt … I personally will not come back, but everyone is different. Oh, order a min of $ 15 and you get egg rolls or a Boba milk tea free …

I bought the mini meal that the girl next door from Subway suggested I get. It was the best tasting Teriyaki chicken and noodle salad I have ever tasted. The white rice was cooked perfectly! All a great price! Loved the flavors… So bomb.

My go to place whenever I’m craving for some hawaiian bbq. I usually order the hawaiian bbq mix plate, which consists of: beef, bbq chicken, short ribs, 2 scoops of rice n 1 scoop of mac salad. Damn I’m a fat ass lol. I prefer this place over the well known L&L franchise cause it tastes better, slightly cheaper n they give u steamed cabbage here! L&L serves ya shredded cabbage that’s dry n uncooked! Adiós L&L!

Worst chicken katsu ever. I waited for nearly 10 mins for a dark meat katsu that was oily and a bit funky tasting. If this is the lunch special size you don’t want the regular size. Sorry my Cantonese bredren… This plate was not good. Get the chicken bbq instead. Or, better still, just get the the Chinese food instead. The Mac was super bland, but I’m not big on mayo Mac. Needed pepper.
