Started by Wedding/Event Designer, Chara Nicole and her husband Joshua Swodeck who specializes in Brand Integration, Design and Marketing Consultation.
Chara & Joshua are active members of the Arts Colonies and Downtown Pomona and have lived in the area for nearly 9 years.

Business Owner
Chara Nicole is happily married to Joshua. Together they have a daughter. She graduated with a B.A. in Communications (Minor in Marketing) from Azusa Pacific University.
In her spare time, she teaches at Cal Poly Pomona’s Extended University and is PTA President at their daughter’s school.
She has been planning and designing Weddings and Events since 2000 and left her position in Broadcast Production to officially launch Open Box Designs in 2006.
