Been here several times since moving to the area. Prices may be a few bucks more, but you get more attention, and the custom paints come out correct. I would rather go to a local business like this than Home Depot or likes any day.
Great staff overall, and Jeff the owner is helpful. On one visit when Jeff wasn’t there, I dealt with someone that was just lazy, had no clue what he was going, and kept eating vanilla wafers while talking to and assisting me. That stuff drives me nuts. Aside from him the place is great.

In a word, SERVICE, describes Pomona Hardware. I have gotten so used to being ignored at Home Depot and the like, that actually getting assistance and attention at a home store took me off guard. To have a person ask, «do you need help?» is refreshing. I am not sure if I am paying more, but I really don’t care. It is worth my time, effort and not to mention gas to get to any other large warehouse type store for my home needs. BRAVO to Pomona Hardware for their dedication to SERVICE and QUALITY.
