New Prudential Driving & Lucy’s Traffic School

I would recommend this place to anyone, young or old, who wants to learn to drive. Sylvia, my instructor was simply amazing. She was patient, very well informed, and very down to earth. I am 45 years old and had never driven more than 3 hours before taking this driving class. After my 6 hour driving class, I didn’t drive for the entire month before I took my behind the wheel test. With only 9 accumulative hours of driving in my LIFE, I passed on the first attempt, thanks to Sylvia. She was just as excited as I was when I passed, and that’s when I knew that being an instructor was more than just a job for her; she was passionate about teaching others. She cared. I can’t thank this place enough! Thank you for matching me with the best instructor I could ask for, and thank you again Sylvia for all your guidance and knowledge.

Just 6 hours of Driving in the US and getting your DL in the first attempt? That is not an easy task to accomplish, I guess. But luckily, I did it. But all the credit for this goes to one person; Guillermo, who was my instructor and also the owner of this Driving School. He was super awesome. He is so good in what he does. He pointed out even the minor errors I made and always gave the right tips to correct these mistakes. He is always calm and this helped me to get rid of my nervousness. That is what helped me to clear the challenge with relative ease. Moreover, he is a person who enjoys what he does. My experience with NP driving School, from the very first phone call, till the moment he dropped to my place after getting my license was all, great! Keep it going! ! It’s 5 stars;hands down!

Guillermo was my driving instructor and I have to say he has been a very great driving instructor. He was so patient and was really helpful with all the questions I had. He never got mad nor frustrated Guillermo was always supportive and never gave up on a problem or mistake I had done. He made me keep doing it until I got it right. I recommend him all the way he speaks English and Spanish but you can understand him very well in English. Hilton speaks English but mostly Spanish and has an accent. But I RECOMMEND this place 100%.

I got a few lessons and went with them to get my license here a few years ago and I wish they had a branch in Whittier so my sister could get hers from here. I really liked it. Amazing service.

This company is awesome to work with! Guillermo who is the owner tool my son out for his lessons. My son was at complete ease as opposed to when he is with me or my husband. My son easily passed his driver’s test! I highly recommend this company for behind the wheel lessons. Not to mention they are extremely reasonable with their prices!

My teenager had a not so pleasant experience during her driving lessons. The instructor, Leticia, was very unprofessional and I will give three specific examples. First, the slang term «ay guey» was repeated by the instructor on numerous occasions and was unnecessarily said. This in itself is unprofessional from a business. Then, Leticia slapped my teenager’s shoulder for a minor wrongdoing. Physical touch is not allowed and again, this is very unprofessional. Lastly, each outing she took a bathroom break and left my teenager in a shady area of Pomona. She even told her to lock the doors. I understand that the lessons can run long but the instructors should take breaks in between students and be prepared one hundred percent. Overall, our experience with the company was not a good one and we will not be recommending this company to anyone.

I would definitely recommend this place the instructor Guillermo, was a very helpful teacher. If you had a question or concern he would be glad to help you out.

I would definitely recommend this place and the instructor Lety. She was an instructor for both me and my sister and we both loved her! She even took us on the freeway on our third lesson and made sure to teach us everything that’ll be on the license test.

I would definitely recommend this driving school. The instructor that my son had, Guillermo, was very knowledgable and I feel did an excellent job. Whenever my son has questions my son will contact Guillermo and he always responds quickly to answer any questions he has regarding his upcoming test. When I was looking for driving schools, they also offered one of the best prices. It was very easy scheduling driving lessons around my sons school schedule. I will be using them again for my step daughters lessons in a few months. For another fee they will also take your child to their test appointment using their car. Great service!

I had excellent experience with my instructor Letitia. She was very professional and patient and most importantly, I pass the test first time.

My teenage daughter came here to learn how to drive. There are three 2 hour lessons, the last one is half-​price. During the first two lessons the male instructor took my daughter TO HIS HOME to use the bathroom, presumably. This is unprofessional and highly inappropriate. She felt uncomfortable and nervous about the situation, and finally told me about it. Before the 3^rd lesson, I called and spoke to the owner, who happens to be his wife. Not only did she say that this was his «break», and I should have understood that, but since all the instructors do this they would no longer be able to accommodate us! I guess she figured she wasn’t losing much since the last lesson is only half-​price. She then hung up on me! Needless to say, I DON’T recommend this place.

Whoever my teacher was, didn’t pay very close attention when she was filing out my paperwork. I got a notice from insurance company saying that my insurance had gone up due to a point on my record from the year before even though I had gone through traffic school and sent everything in on time (thank God I got proof of mailing or else I don’t know what i would have done). I checked with my records from the school and they had written down the wrong case number on my completion receipt. When I went in to correct it, they were very helpful and fixed it right away, but it was still a hassle because I had to go all the way to Santa Ana and wait at the court and refile and then send it all back to my insurance company and then wait some more and then had to front the money for the increase in insurance for the month this was all processing and all of that fun stuff. I just felt like it was a sloppy mistake that required a lot of tedious clean up. They were prompt and professional about fixing it afterward, but it’s a slip that shouldn’t have happened, and one that is going to cost them a star.
