Went to their new location. The door states being open on Sunday till 3pm. I came here at 12:30 and the doors were locked. Heh. I guess they don’t like to get customers. Went to another barber shop down the street instead.

After a few visits to the shop these guys know how to do work. I’ve had fades and scissor work done here and the guy knows his stuff. I don’t know his name but he’s the short one. This spot definitely delivers so if you’re looking for a cut stop by

Good Job! I walked in and it was busy, but didn’t take long, I took my son so we were playing pool so didn’t mind waiting. I let my son go first and told the Barber what I wanted so I can see his Caliber of cutting. He Did my son up nice, so I was pumped up and told him what I wanted, was a high fade and clean it up, I was hooked on this man skills. I think they call him JAVE. that dude can get down old school too. i think they are on park and holt now.

I came in with my 2 sons at 6:17 [they close at 7pm] No Elegant how the short guy in the first chair just stuttered something that sounded like«we are closed or closing» the message was clear that He didn’t want my Business and that was so sad to turn customer’s away, I can understand if I was there like 5 minutes before closing. They way the made us feel was simply«Unwanted» and I got the message clear. we will never go back.

Before I start this review, I’d like to point out that this is in no way malicious, I’m simply stating my experience here, there may be others that experience something far different than my experience. Without absolute truth, my reviews have no weight, so I present my experiences«as-is» for your review… I walk in and ask who does old school flat-tops, some guy with tats and piercings on his face said to talk to «Jave» he’s the guy to do that type of cut, He informs me that Jave won’t be in til tomorrow. I come back the next day, I tell Jave he comes recommended by his partner, I start to explain that I want a flat-top, but leave the front hair and the side edges long as I comb it into a pomp and curl the sides. I bring heavy gel and explain step by step how the cut is done, Jave retorted that he doesn’t use gel, he uses hairspray… 1. Big Red flag I know every barber is different so I agree to let him do his thing, he’s putting in hair spray and at some point the comb doesn’t even go through the front of my hair anymore. I see that he didn’t quite understand what I explained so I told him to just give me a straight flat-top, only leave the very front long so I can comb that into a pomp, so please gel the very front down and away from the rest of the hair so he can do the flat top. He gnarls the sides and is nervously snipping and looking at what he can do, watching him is like watching someone give a haircut for the first time. I see that he’s not getting the job done so I tell him it’s good enough, please stop. I pay him 13 bucks for the disaster and we part ways. I don’t blame him, flat-tops are a lost art, but then I add to the complication by the fact that it isn’t just a flat-top, I ask for certain modifications which may throw off inexperienced barbers, much less even more experienced barbers can have issues doing my type of cut. I end up going to S&S Barber in Chino, Rudy that’s been a barber since the 70’s managed to fix this disaster and make my hair look clean as fk. I suggest going there instead.

This place is easily the best barber shop in Pomona! They can do fades, tapers, etc. I go to Efrain who sits in the first chair when you walk in. He’s actually one of the owners and he gives consistent looking haircuts. He’s very efficient as well. Good music, tv, and a pool table. Prices are $ 12 for a fade or taper. Cheap and quality haircut!

This was my first time here at this shop and got a good cut from the barber in the second chair with the bald head and beard. We small talked while he hooked up my cut and before you know it I was on my way.

Gotten cut up by 2 of the dudes. First 2 chairs as you walk through the door. Prices are fair for the area. I have short hair and usually get either a tape fade w/a lineup or just a regular taper w/lineup. The few times I’ve gotten cut they’ve been clean. They take their time, are decent w/the straight razor, and the haircuts are clean. 4 cause a few times instead of warm shaving cream they just used the spray for the lineup and I got razor burn.

I bring my son here & I think he’s had his hair cut with every barber there and every one of them does an excellent job. He won’t go to any other barber now. Haircut is usually $ 12.

Worth the drive. Excellent barbers, all three barbers cut hair really good. Prices range from $ 8-$ 14 depending on the cut style. Update: After finding this place I have been coming here for over 2 years. I appreciate the consistently great service and friendly barbers who do an excellent job cutting hair the way I want it. Recently grew a beard and they do a great job making the lines straight for me and fading the way I ask them to. Also I appreciate that when the two main barbers hire extra help for busier times they hire quality people. You don’t have to worry about using someone else and getting a substandard haircut. 5 Stars for these guys.
