They also carry lots of dresses, perfect for celebratory occasions.
The owner is very helpful in helping you find something that flatters your body type and looks great. You can tell he is passionate about the store.
Good quality clothes at affordable prices. Highly recommend for those that want to look good without breaking the bank!

My new favorite place! The guy was so sweet! Some cool finds. Some good brands. Very few brands that o wouldn’t touch. The store is very clean, well lit and displayed nicely! I’ll be back!

My favorite place to shop! Great taste, especially for someone like me who hates trying to find clothes. John helped me pick out great outfits. I felt like I should have paid him for his advice and great welcoming enthusiasm.

I love buying my clothes there. There is always something new. My style. Great prices. Also I love the dresses. If I need to go somewhere fact I’ll go to there to get beautiful dresses or blouses. Sometimes I’ll get an outfit. The shoes are great as well.

My closet is filled with business and casual skirts, jackets, shirts, and dresses hand-​selected by the masterful wardrobe curator John Michael Villa. Just be warned. You will be hooked. Difficult to shop at other places due to lack of variety, poor quality, and/​or high prices. I love Shop by John Michael Villa. You will too.

My experience at the SHOP was wonderful! I had been looking for two dresses to wear to two formal events coming up: a quinceanera and a wedding. I am a college student so I’m always on a budget and I saw great Unilocal reviews for this little shop in Downtown Pomona. When arriving, I honestly didn’t even want to go in because it looked so chic and expensive. I was wearing my volunteer uniform as well so I felt so embarrassed to walk in. I decided to suck up the shame and just walk on through. I immediately saw a sign that said to not be intimidated and step in, so that made me feel a lot better. I was the only one in the store and was greeted by John himself. He was so friendly and was so easy to get along with! I greatly appreciated his help with what I was looking for. He went with me through the entire rack of dresses and picked out any potential outfits. I was even open to some I wouldn’t think I would consider and I wasn’t afraid to tell him what styles I liked or didn’t like. He was also honest of how the dresses fit me. Friends tend to always say you look good, which can be nice on your ego but I hate it because I can’t be sure the outfit actually looks good. However, John was honest with me and even recommended accessories or colors I can mix into the outfit. I loved my experience here and I am so glad I decided to come in that day. Now when I go to clothing stores, I compare the help I get with John’s but honestly, there is no comparison. John did an amazing job and I definitely plan to return soon. I should also mention I got awesome deals on these dresses and a first customer discount as well. I think this SHOP is definitely worth checking out and John is the sweetest! I didn’t take many pics at the two events since my camera sucks and I was too busy enjoying myself to really snap a pic, but I wore a black dress for the wedding and a fun blue dress for the Quince

I love SHOP! Such a refreshing addition to the Downtown Pomona area. Don’t be intimidated by the clean, crisp styling and modern storefront, this is not your über expensive boutique! They carry a wide variety of «recycled» dresses, accessories and clothes for women and men. I recently purchased a floral maxi dress (perfect for summer) for like $ 13! Anyways, SHOP is awesome and I am so happy that they are part of the Downtown business community!

love this consignment shop! it doesn’t have the nasty, cluttered feeling like thrift stores, but the selection of clothing is just as unique and hip. purchased a Calvin Klein denim dress for $ 13! such a great find. there’s a lot of nicer clothing here too (isaac mizrahi, banana republic, american apparel, etc.) all the dresses I saw were $ 15 tops. the owner, John, is really nice. he was helpful and friendly. overall five stars! really clean store and affordable clothes! will be back!

I did not know what to expect, but when I walked in the owner made me feel very welcomed. He showed me around and even picked out a few good shirts for me. Over all really great, good prices.

Be careful where you park. Parking in front of bldg is only 30 mins. Take the elevator to the 2^nd floor. Took my daughter to shop. I liked the cozy atmosphere of this unique boutique and the very pleasant gentleman who helped us. Clothing in good condition, and not super trendy. Not too much inventory in larger sizes, so one less star for that. New inventory out every Wed. My daughter found a flannel, a printed sweatshirt, and small pencil purse for $ 21.00. The day we went, they had 3 racks out with $ 5. items; some including evening wear. Really amazing bargains if your’re sizes 10 or below. Look up their website, and you can see new items that came in that Wednesday on-​line.

So awesome! I wish I got a chance to shop at the live store in Pomona. However, I live in the Bay Area and I saw my lovely Ashleigh P. looking gorgeous in some of John Michael Villa’s styles! I went online and I saw a beautiful floral dress. I took a chance and ordered it. It was a size 8… yea yea… not living that 6 life anymore, but I get to drink beer and eat gluten and ice cream! :)
Within two days, the dress arrives in my mail box. I open it up, and it is gorgeous. I’m wearing it right now. I can’t take it off, I’m so in love. I know I have to for hygienic purposes though. When I tried it on, it just zipped up and fit me like a glove! I even got to zip it up by myself! (Do you know how hard it is to zip up your own dresses when you live by yourself… The struggle is real.)
The prices are so reasonable… AND get this?! I open my dress, and there is a handwritten note by John Michael Villa himself! It’s the little things… :)

This has quickly become my wife’s favorite dress shop. Even when not purchasing anything (although my wife does purchase plenty here), our daughter, my wife and I enjoy just popping in to say hello and talk life.
The prices are very reasonable and the selection is vast. Wide range of brands and sizes at very reasonable prices. Styles range from casual to wedding guest attire.
The owner, John is amazing. More than just a cashier, he prides himself on making every customer feel more beautiful than when they walked in. Ask him to tell you stories of girls who came in uncomfortable with their bodies and left with shoulders back, head high walking out like they were runway models.
It’s more than just another dress shop… it’s an experience.

I love thrifting and totally enjoy the thrill from finding a treasured piece in my size, but its a lot of work. This shop took all the hard work away for me. I found a handful of things to try on and ended leaving with a dress, a blouse, and a set of bangles all for under $ 15!
The shop was fresh, vibrant, and had a wide range of colors and sizes to pick from. Usually, you would find a great selection, but the sizes are more sample dress sizes. I typically wear a 2xl/​size 20 dress and I found somethings that works!
John Michael knows his fashion and has superb customer service. I felt like hot stuff when I walked out of his doors.

Amazing! No clothes for Men but my girl friends found a TON of cute stuff! We come in here all the time now and I tell EVERYONE about it! Here tonight for the grand opening and with candy, drinks, and a live DJ, shop has somehow made me fall even more in love!

My niece is 12 years old and she absolutely loves the owner John he is so kind and welcoming and made us feel at home. The shop is located in a cute spot by downtown Pamona. The store carries designer clothes for great prices. My little niece even bought stuff for her. I bought myself this little cute vintage dress for a great price. Definitely coming back here!

SERIOUSLY The best place to shop. Manager is amazing and he truly cares about you and makes you feel soooo comfortable! It’s a 30 minute drive to my house not including traffic but honestly this place is the place to shop. And with KILLER PRICES!
