One star is too many for this place. $ 65 to do hem in a dress??? $ 30 to take 1 mm of the sides of a simple top??? It’s EXTREMELY expensive and the lady told me to look for a cheaper place.
They also take weeks to do alterations. Definitely not worth it!

They did a great job fixing my zipper! Even gave me 10% off for an inconvenience and I did not have to ask for it. Will return to this shop if needed!

she is super friendly, honest, and the sweetest seamstress! Their price is very affordable. I will definitely recommend everyone this place for any type of alteration… especially for a bridal gown. I had a bad experience somewhere else who overpriced me and messed up on my gown, was a nightmare but I am so glad I found this place and met such friendly and lovely staff!
this place is about 45 mins away from where I lived but definitely worth the drive.

First off the staff is extremely friendly. That’s the first plus. The location is easy to find and looks good inside. I walked in knowing exactly how I wanted my suit tailored to fit me and after trying it on after completion I’m happy to say it was done exceptionally well. I got my pant legs hemmed, jacket sleeves and jacket length shortened. I’m extremely happy with the attention to detail as well. The prices are competitive with what I’ve paid for in the past for the same work. I’ve been searching for a tailor for my suits for months now and although I have a tailor by my house that does good work as well, I will definitely be coming back here in the future despite it being 15 mins away from my job and the hours conflicting with my work schedule. This place is that good and well worth it.

Really??? $ 37 to hem a skirt? That’s $ 13 more than the skirt cost. I’m quite sure unless you are Tiger Woods or Giselle Bundchen, you probably won’t be able to afford this place. Service was very nice though.

I found Benjamin’s through Unilocal and couldn’t be happier. Their work is on par with the best tailors I’ve used in the past in the west coast. They are also super friendly, very knowledgeable, and have always completed my alterations in a timely manner. Their prices are also very reasonable for the quality of work that they provide.

Friendly staff, they did the job… my suit fits perfectly. Next suit I get… this will be the first stop before I wear it out!

Fantastic Service! I ordered a few custom shirts, Victoria measured me and when I received them, they fit perfectly. I was unsure what colors and fabric to choose, but Victoria had great recommendations. I get so many compliments! Not too expensive, very reasonable.

The staff at Benjamin’s is incredibly, professional, timely, and precise when it came to my alterations. They took special care to keep the original hems on my jeans and I couldn’t be more pleased!

Stopped going because I moved and I really liked Sonia, the manager who always helped me, and she’s no longer there. Victoria is still there and keeps that place together. I’d go back only because she’s still there!

In the past 5 years, I have tried five different tailors in the Fort Lauderdale/​Boca/​Pompano area — all with somewhat high ratings on here. I can’t understand why they all scored so high. I personally was never happy with the finished results. I decided to try my search again for a good tailor, and I found Benjamin’s advertised on here. HALLELUJAH!!! I HAVE FINALLY FOUND THE ABSOLUTE BEST TAILOR IN SOUTH FLORIDA! If you are as picky as I am with your designer clothes, do not bring them any where else. Let me tell you why you should go to this store: Number 1: They are HONEST. Victoria, the girl who did the measurements has a very keen eye for detail. She noticed all the faulty workmanship that the last «highly-​rated» tailor off of 17^th street in Ft Laud did. He butchered my $ 650.00 J Crew suit I just bought a year ago. She was able to determine how to fix it, and now it fits with absolute perfection! Number 2: They do meticulous work in an extremely timely manner. I brought in a brand new Michael Kors suit that was a whole size too big. With Victoria’s excellent eye for detail, she had it tailored into a custom-​fit suit — within 2 to 3 days! I wore it to a function this evening and I received 4 compliments on my suit within 10 minutes! They all thought I was wearing a custom made suit because it fit so well on me. Number 3: The prices are extremely reasonable for the perfection that they create in this store. As you can see, I cannot stop talking about how I absolutely happy and thankful I am that I found this place. Do not waste your time, money and valuable clothing with any other tailor in South Florida. They are worth the drive from anywhere. Thank you Benjamin’s Tailoring of Pompano!

They did an EXCELLENT job on the alterations and the price was very reasonable. The only issue I have with them is that their hours of operation are a little inconvenient. They are not opened past 5pm on the week days, which makes pickup/​dropoff difficult for anyone with a m-​f job. They are open on Saturday.

Great services in record time!
I was happy to find it near my hotel, craftsmanship and not expensive at all!
