We specialize in transporting one family of pets at a time. We will drive your pet anywhere in the United States that you need. If you are moving or you just purchased that new puppy and need a safe way to get them home, we do that for you. We will personally pick them up from you or your agent and drive them to your new location. Your pet (s) will be treated like family as they travel cross country in air conditioned comfort. Your pet will travel for a maximum of 10 hours per day with frequent stops made along the way for exercise. Stops will be made a minimum of every 4 hours. Pets in our care will never be subjected to the rigors of air travel, treated like cargo and tossed around on a plane. No need to worry that they are sitting on the hot tarmac because they missed a flight.

History

Established in 2012.

This business was started because of my love for animals. When my family purchased a new puppy, I was not happy with the options I was finding on travel. I had heard too many sad stories from people about the damage air travel can present to an animal. I did not want my new puppy to be treated like cargo. So I decided to form Rocky’s Pet Transportation Service and provide a safe and reliable ground transportation service that caters to pet owners who want more than just transportation for their family pet. We go above and beyond to make sure each guest is treated just like family. I have spent the last 20+ years volunteering with many rescue groups in the South Florida area including fostering many dogs. I have experience with animals with disabilities such as blindness and diabetes and I have taught many an old dog a new trick. Thank you for your time and I hope to hear from you soon.

After leaving the Air Force I bounced around for a few year working in the restaurant industry before opening my own. After coming to my senses and selling my restaurant I knew I still wanted to work for myself so I have built two more businesses over the last 20+ years. My last one was a Pool Service Company and I have enjoyed every minute of it. All the while I have volunteered with many animal rescue groups doing what ever was needed, when ever it was needed.
