We offer a variety of programs such as private home swim lessons, group swim lessons, baby & me classes, stroke development classes, adult swim lessons, swim lessons for special needs children, and stroke clinics. We teach in the following areas: Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach, Lauderdale by the Sea, Lighthouse Point, Deerfield Beach, East Boca Raton, Coral Springs, and Parkland. Our program runs rear round out of The Pomano Beach Aquatic Center, or we can come to you.

History

Established in 2007.

Being happy under water is part of living in South Florida. We have been teaching children to love and respect the water for over 10 years now. Miss Samantha, the founder is very passionate about reaching as many children as possible and teaching them to love the water. Splashes and Smiles has grown from a small 2 person team, to an amazing team of 10 of the most loving, caring, and patient instructors around. We pride ourselves on our unique, non aggressive teaching style to ensure that your experience is the best possible. We are very actively involved in our community and you can always find us involved in local fundraisers & children’s charities.

We are not only committed to the future of great swimmers, but future surfers, snorkelers, divers, jet skiers, sand castle builders, skim boarders, boogie boarders, water skiers, and all water loving enthusiasts! We look forward to keeping families safe in and around the water for years and years to come.

Samantha M.

Business Owner

Samantha has always demonstrated a passion and talent for teaching and developing children. She is fascinated and amazed with the rapid learning potential of the child’s mind. It was clear that teaching children was a gift she was to share with children everywhere.

Through the completion of her early childhood degree, Samantha realized that traditional teaching was not necessarily in her path, so she chose a more creative avenue to connect with and teach children. She has implemented all of her early childhood experience in teaching children from preschool to martial arts, sports, and gymnastics.

In May of 2007, Samantha developed Splashes and Smiles Inc., her own swim program, which uniquely combines her extensive experience, knowledge of child development, non aggressive teaching techniques, combined with love and lots of patience. The program caters to the specific needs of children of all ages and abilities.
