I was referred to Kovach by a local handyman regarding a leak coming through our bathroom vent. Kovach sent out a tech the next day for a «free» estimate. He briefly looked at the roof, said the repair would be $ 150 and did the work then and there. We were told the repair would be guaranteed for a year. Within a few days, the leak returned, and the tech returned 2 more times in the coming weeks to make other repairs. When I called again, saying the leak was still there, the tech called me back and informed me that it wasn’t a roof problem afterall (it turned out it was attic ducts that needed a minor adjustment). I called the office to request a refund, (given that he admitted it wasn’t a roof problem, the work should have been guaranteed and he could have said it wasn’t a roof problem from the get-​go during the «free» estimate) and was told they wouldn’t give a refund. I was told several times that «Mr. Kovach» would call me, but it’s been many weeks now and I haven’t heard from anyone. I suggest paying on credit card so you can dispute the fee later on. Although they may do good roof repairs when you need them, it seems like they also run a scam telling people they have a roof problem when they don’t.

I had a leak in my kitchen and it felt like it was raining in my kitchen. I googled roofing companies by me and came across Kovach Roofing. I called them and spoke to their secretary Margaret who was able to make an appointment for me for the following day. I had one of the owners himself, Christian, come for the estimate appointment. He informed me of what the problem was and gave me an estimate. I was surprised that after I agreed to their quote he performed the job on the spot. Within a couple of hours my leak was fixed and I couldn’t be happier. Nevertheless, Christian informed me that I would need a new roof within 6 months because this was a temporary fix. Happy with the repair work I called them back within 2 months and got an estimate for the new roof. I was quoted with what I felt was reasonable and within the range I had researched a new roof should cost for my size house. I am now happy with a new roof that has a 50 year warranty. I feel really secure with the job that was done and the warranty offered. They are very personable and accessible people, definitely recommend them for their work and ability to make you feel like a part of the process.

We needed roof repairs. Kovach sent out Jay, who gave the roof a good inpection, outlined the repairs and did them on the spot. Can’t ask for more than that!
