An area native, Captain Ron Hatcher cast his line for the first time at the tender age of 7 and never looked back. He knows the Halifax River and Ponce Inlet area like the back of his hand, and shares his knowledge with those who head out with him during chartered fishing trips. Providing rods, reels, and bait, Capt. Ron’s fishing adventures are suited for curious beginners and more experienced passengers alike. Capt. Ron observes the birds, baitfish and tell tale signs of feeding fish and guides you to the perfect spot.

History

Established in 2013.

Capt. Ron Hatcher, a native fishing guide of Volusia County, picked up his first rod and reel at age seven and has had saltwater coursing through his veins ever since. He has been fishing Ponce Inlet, the Halifax River and Mosquito Lagoon since his childhood and is one of the most knowledgeable fishing guides along the Volusia and Brevard Coast.

Ron recently upgraded to a 2014 22′ Skeeter Tunnel Hull powered by a 2014 Yamaha 200 HP SHO with plenty of comfortable seating, storage and fishing room for 4 or more. You won’t be crowded on this boat.
