History

Established in 1973.

Pineapple Post was established in 1973 by Nancy and Ralph Hoyt in the Costa Verde Shopping Center in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. Close family friends Susan and Craig Hamilton bought the store in 2001. In November, 2015, the Hamiltons moved Pineapple Post to the newly renovated Sawgrass Village Shopping Center in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, just a few miles south of the original location.

The worst experience and stress provoking of my entire wedding preparation experience
If you are willing to waste money and have a huge budget then go here.
Over rated and all items sold at the store is over priced, some I’ve found 30percent off elsewhere including swoozies at town center
Will not recommend here, although due to limited selection in Jacksonville many wedding planners recommend going here.
The worst experience ever never going back.

I bought some personalized holiday cards from here a couple of years ago and they turned out really well. This store also has a wide variety of things if you need a gift for someone.

Like Natalie said, this place is a pretty quintessential bride-​to-​be shopping place. First off, they sell stationary, which is great for all those invitations that must be mailed out. Secondly, the sell all kinds of home goods, from decorations to diningware to servingware to picture frames and jewelry… which make for a nice registry. The style is pretty preppy, but definitely nice and high quality.
I have come in here with my mom and picked up some gifts for friends or relatives for special occasions [birthdays, holidays, weddings, showers]. I also picked up a few things for myself: a nice vase, some picture frames that were on sale…
Speaking of, make sure to check out the sale wall. It always has some great, discounted finds.
This is a nice place. If you are in the market for some home goods, check it out.

The Pineapple Post is a Jax Beach institution for Brides to be and lovers of cute, preppy yet beachy items. They are best known for the Invitation Room filled with books upon books of wedding and special occasion invites. They also have a great selection of «print it yourself» invitations. Aside from invitations, they carry a whole bunch of Vera Bradley as well as many other cute items for the home. I ended up not ordering my invitations from here, but I do love this place. My friend did order her invites and said that the sales staff is insanely customer focused and will take good care of you!
