Yummy pita sandwiches and the kids had chicken quesadilla on tortillas… great lunch spot and love the name. We thought it was vegan but plenty of chicken, salmon and bacon for non vegetarian folks!

Great tasting wraps, super yummy ingredients! Also has a few vegan options. I had the Veggie Wrap which was delicious. My husband had the Sprouted Salmon wrap(although they were out of sprouts, so they substituted with candied pecans). We would definitely eat here again if we are ever in the area!

I came here after checking into a hotel, based on Unilocal reviews and sit here staring at my wrap after a few bites wondering how Unilocal let me down. After being told I could not make a few subtitutions on a salad without it costing quite a bit extra, I opted for the Pseudo Ceasar. When I asked the gentleman working to please leave the croutons off, he informed me it would be an additional $ 0.25. I repeated I wanted none, not more. He allowed me a substitution for the croutons to which I opted avocado, only to be told that wasn’t a fair substitution. He only put a few diced tomato pieces on my wrap, so when I asked for more, I was informed he often just puts a few because he doesn’t really like them. In the end, I received a mediocre wrap with dry chicken but a delicious macadamia nut cranberry cookie. I would be willing to give this restaurant another chance in the hopes I came on an «off night“because no one is perfect every time. At least the cookie was delicious.

Best veggie wrap ever! Very glad I stopped here and cookies are amazing as well. I also got a side of brown rice and quinoa with a delicious sauce.

The food is good and healthy! Their hours are great, open until 2 am! Staff was friendly. My only complaint is that the ventilation is a bit poor. We came to port angeles on a hot day and I could barely breathe while I was inside… but you can sit near the door or find a spot out near the beach!

I ordered the veggie fest wrap which was fresh and flavorful. My partner in crime ordered the salad which was a great option because you could build your own from ingredients such as quinoa, kale, falafel, pesto vinegerette etc.

Excellent!!! After the last few days of vacation rental eating and more peanut butter sandwiches than I care to mention we were delirious for real food and fresh vegetables. This hit the spot exactly! And there is a «build your own» flatbread or wrap option I didn’t see on the website– you can specialize your meal to your personal preferences/allergies/etc. Everything was super fresh and top quality. And the prices were completely reasonable for the food we were getting. I will be dreaming of my flatbread, fig, spinach and bacon meal for days to come. So good.

We loved this place and wish there was a place just like it near us. We could eat here every week. Ultra healthy wraps for a great price. They are made fresh in front of you and you can customize them as well. Service was friendly and the wraps were huge. We were very impressed with their quality.

The best place for lunch on the Peninsula, such fresh local food! I love the create your own option, every time I take people here everyone is always satisfied because they get to choose exactly what they want from the freshest ingredients possible. We have also got takeout from here for staff meetings and it has worked out great!

Just stopped here on the way back from Olympic national park. It’s not often that I am so happy with my food that I write a review right away. We ordered 2 Greekin out pittas and they were out of this world! Loved the sauce and all the veggies. Healthy warm and filling. Great little café!

After checking into our motel in the Port Angeles area, I asked the lady at the desk where we could grab a bite to eat. She provided us with a name and I jumped on my Unilocal app to check it out. I wasn’t impressed with her suggestion, so I searched for a new place to eat. Turnip The Beet caught my attention because the name is catchy and cute. We drove a few minutes over and I accidentally passed the place the first time. It’s a one-way street, so it wasn’t like I could turn around or anything. They have parallel parking directly in front of the complex and also across the street. There are probably more parking areas, but honestly, it was dark and since I had already found a spot rather quickly, I didn’t pay much attention. We walked in and were greeted by a friendly young lady. They have a smaller menu, consisting of salads, pasta salads, pitas, and wraps, which I think is great because they can focus on quality instead of trying to please everyone. My mom was a little undecided, so she gave us a few minutes before we ordered. Finally, we ordered the Pseudo Caesars wrap. Actually, it caught my eye and she copied me, opting for the spinach wrap instead. It consisted of free-range chicken, mozzarella, tomato, romaine lettuce, croutons, caesar, and my favorite – kalamata olives. The olives were probably the reason I chose this wrap. It was filling, tasty, and hit the spot. I was ready for bed after finishing it. On the location itself, it was clean and consisted of several tables. It connected with a bar(?) next door that had an open mic night going on. She said we were welcome to take our food over so that we could enjoy the music. I’ll have to keep that in mind the next time I visit because I really enjoy watching live music, but I was too tired for it that night. I’ll definitely come back on my next trip to the area.

I was just passing through town on a road trip and needed a quick place to grab a bite. The employees were so friendly, even though I was tired and cranky and hungry. I had the greekin out pita with falafel. It was super delicious and fresh and more than I could finish in one sitting. Perfect!

Pleasantly surprised. I usually don’t care for wraps, but this was goooood. Everything is super fresh and made in front of you(similar to «subway»). You can pick a premade item, customize it to fit your tastes, or make your own concoction from scratch. There is a ridiculous amount of variety and options. I’m sure you could eat here every day for a year, never having the same thing twice, and still have plenty of variations left to try. They offer things from the basics to the unusual. The only slight negative is that drink choices were lacking. Though, they did offer three local sodas, so that’s a bonus.

Healthy, flavorful food that’s quick to grab. Their salads and lamb pita are great but their Hawaiian Cookie is even better, which admittedly isn’t so healthy.

Oh My God This place is incredible. No other restaurant is so healthy and so delicious at the same damn time. Epic customer service, the girl working was really nice and helped us all choose the wrap best for us. Tons of awesome choices on the menu, and you can even make your own if you want. The bacon fig wrap was like sex in my mouth, except better. I don’t live anywhere near Port Angeles and it wasn’t even that cool but I’d go back just to eat here again. 100⁄100

I came here while on vacation a few weeks ago, and it was honestly one of the most impressive dining experiences I’ve had in a long time — and this is not a compliment I give out lightly. I ordered the Greekin’ Out pita wrap, which was really solid and fairly inexpensive — especially for the area — and an unfairly delicious coconut cookie. On its own, the dining experience itself was already exemplary. But the best part of my time there was definitely the customer service. The whole staff was super friendly and attentive, and in a way that didn’t seem fake or tip-mongering at all. I give huge props to those employees, because I know it can be difficult to put on a cheery customer service persona and still seem genuine, but I think they’ve mastered it better than any other restaurant I’ve been to in a very long time. TL;DR: definitely, definitely worth stopping in. I will probably never be able to visit again, but i will recall it fondly in memory.

Plenty of fresh, tasty options at this new ‘fast casual’ restaurant in downtown P.A. Turnip the Beet’s menu is pretty simple: salads, wraps, pitas, and soup. Where it gets complicated, however, is in deciding which ingredients to get in your meal– their selection is staggering! There are plenty of pre-selected combinations to choose from, or you can build your own by choosing your protein, cheese, veggies, and sauce. According to the menu, everything is «natural, organic, free range, & local», too. I went with the ‘Ninja’ wrap this time: wild caught salmon, cream cheese, nori, cucumber, romaine, and tangy chipotle sauce($ 7.50) and a cup of tomato bisque soup($ 2.50). Delicious awesomeness! Can’t wait to come back and try some more next time I’m in town!
