Comcast is beyond belief!
The worst customer service of all of the services.
Ordered my gear to install myself. The box failed had to spend two hours waiting to replace. Then I still didn’t work. They sent a technician out to fix a bad wire. To add insult to injury they billed me for an office visit and an in home visit. Unbelievable!

I recently moved to Port Charlotte & went on a recommendation of a neighbor. It turns out he used to work for them. Comcast cust service is horrible. I have had to call them mostly for billing issues repeatedly. They were mostly resolved. But this time it was for a technical issue with my phone service. Each time we call we must be reaching different countries, the accents are so heavy which makes what they are saying very difficult to understand & they do not understand what we are talking about. This is the most frustrating company we ever dealt with. First we had no dial tone, that came back now our line is crossed with a business & we can’t get calls in. It has been 3 days & now I will have to physically go to the Comcast service center to get help in person. It is useless on the phone. I wish I could go back to Directv or get Fios again, Comcast can’t deliver what they promise. Look around not to them.

Worst customer service ever. We had cable installed almost 3 months ago. The installation person ran cable from our house to the pole across the front yard. He said someone would be out to bury the wire within the next week. After calling 4 times and having them give us four separate appointments to do this we still have a cable running across our front yard. Unfortunately they are the only game in town other than Dish and they are most certainly aware of this. Go with Dish.

Switched to Xfinity XR1 in May. Every bill has been wrong. They installed a modem I did not want as I had my own. Today I returned their modem and activated mine so as not to pay rental fees. Tonight received an email from Comcast charging me $ 220 early termination fee for just returning a modem and I NEVER HAD A CONTRACT AND HAVE MY COPY TO PROVE IT. Found out local agent to whom I returned the modem opened a new account for me without my permission and on a 24month contract. Never told me this, never signed for it, they just did it. Went into the office again. Showed them I never had a contract, showed them what their employee did and still they have not reversed the charges or taken down new contract that I never authorized. This is by far the worst customer oriented company in the internet and Television transmission business. They just do what they want and even with proof they have not corrected the problem. No one seems to be able to make a decision. No one seems to be able to cancel the early termination charge even though I don’t have a contract. I had DirecTV for 12 years and NEVER was treated this way, NEVER. Read all the reviews, I can’t find a good one anywhere.

Made an appt over a month ago for a new installation. Waited 5 hours with Comcast being a no show, I called them and they said another hour, another no show. Now they said next appt later next week. I’ll be back home in MA then… so they said they will fit me in tomorrow at 8 am… guess what, yup, no one showed. Seriously??? Verizon Is needed here to push out Comcast. Well a supervisor did arrive at noon and was apologetic, he took care of the install himself and did a great job.

General Comcast service and technical support. There service is so arrogant and unprofessional I can not understand how they are permitted to be in business. Problem in local service is changing channels can take 2 – 5 seconds on most channels. Problem is ¾ set-​top boxes average 1 – 3 seconds delay, technical support claims this is normal and within there established tolerances, while main set takes 3 – 5 seconds on average. Field tech says this one location is excessive delay even bu their standards but unable to restore proper service, even replaced the box. Escalated to next level took 2 days for response and his attitude was — you need to live with it, tough crap, even though we had decent service 6 + months ago.
This was local supervisor my the punta gorda“FL area. I asked to have ticket escalated to his next level management and he. Said they would call on Monday, now it is Tuesday PM, and still no call.
Being in a condo, we have no options but to live with crap service.

Worst customer service EVER on the telephone. Wasted hours on the telephone calling back 5 times only to be cut off and have to give my security information over and over and over again!

Comcast is the absolute worst. Our Direct contract was running out so we thought we would try comcast. Have their internet as in Port Charlotte it is really the only option.
Called Prism and Vios which are still not available in our area. So went with comcast. Only good thing was the no commitment contract which was great cause we cancelled after only two weeks. First off — be aware that our local Comcast cannot offer the services you see on the TV commercials. Of course they don’t tell you that till after you are signed up. My buddy has the X1 box which is really nice, we didn’t get it. Was told it won’t work in this area and they replace them as soon as a customer has a problem. With the phone service (triple play) your supposed to get incoming calls listed on TV screen, again, not in our area.
Installation. First guy did a horrible job. Almost immediately needed a return visit. He didn’t even disconnect the old Direct TV splitters in house. Broke box on outside wall. Phone stopped working a week later. My wife logged over ten hours with customer service on the phone and they wanted to bill us to ship parts that should have been on repair truck.
Basically nothing worked as promised.
About this time got the «please come back» letter from Direct so we called them. Got all the newest Genie whole house boxes and we are back with problem free TV for the next two years at a great rate… Loving it.
Only problem is still having to use Comcast internet. Hate giving them a dime!
