Harry G.

Business Owner

Harry has over 30 years of construction experience. Originally from Pittsburgh PA, Harry moved to Port Charlotte in the late 1990’s. Harry originally worked as a construction superintendent and has built hundreds of homes in Lee and Charlotte counties. As owner/​operator and a fully licensed and insured contractor since 2000, Harry will meet all of your handyman, construction, inspection, and remodel needs, jobs big and small.

Harry and Lorraine have three sons who have or are currently serving in the military and in law enforcement. They also have five young grandchildren.

I kept adding things I wanted Harry to do and he understood when I needed some things done over others so I could move into my new home. He was great with creative suggestions to solve problems to accomplish what I wanted with the renovations I had done. And on top of that he took the time to help me and make sure I was putting the wood floors down (a task I took on my self to save money) and allowed me to use his saw. I thought that was awesome. He understood I ended up having more work done then I intended as I decided to renovate multiple rooms instead of just one, and understood I wanted to find ways to save money here and there.
In addition to all that he was exceptionally professional and reliable. I compared the quotes prices he gave me to one of my contractor friends and he found his prices reasonable. I’m not sure how he compares to other licensed contractors in the area but even if he costs a little more (which I’m not sure he does) going with Hometastic will give you peace of mind. You know the work will be done well and fast.

After ruining part of my floor trying to remove old caulk, I called Harry at Hometastics. He got someone in to do both bathrooms for a great price. The job was done well. He also was able to help me determine how to make the floor area I scewed up look great again. Fantastic job.

A friend recommended Harry to us. Needed a baby gate for a large opening. We had bought one at a store, but the way it was made and with the kids hanging on it the floor started to get scratched. Harry built a gate that fixes all the problems.

Fort Leonard Wood, MO
Hired on to work on my moms house in South Punta Gorda. He put in a new front door and replaced the older kitchen cabinets with some new updated finishes. He was able to subcontract the countertops and cabinets making it easy for her to manage the work going on in the house. Within two days the whole project was done and my mom didnt have to worry about the contractors or missing work. Knowing he is licensed and insured gave me piece of mind since i was not in town when she got the work done. I recommend Harry and Hometastic Services to anyone for this type of work.
