I think it must be a trend at all the Home Depot’s that the employees don’t know what they’re talking about. Called the lamp dept. today to verify that they had Himalayan salt lamps in stock because the website said they did. The LAMPDEPT. EMPLOYEE said he had never heard of the product and that it’s something only sold online. I said«Are you sure??! Because the website says you have three in stock.»… «TRUST me» he says, «I work in this department. If we sold it here I would know.»… Hmm, yea ok. Drove 10 miles to this location, walked right into the lamp aisle, and lo and behold what do I see sitting on the shelf??! Himalayan salt lamps!!! If a Home Depot employee says«trust me», don’t ever believe that sh*t.

I will divide my review into two parts: The Furniture’s section and the garden section. The first will get 1 star and the last will get 5 stars. I am not sure if it is a matter of luck, or other person, but at the furniture we needed to wait too long for someone from that department to help us, and when someone came we knew more than he did. Now the gardening section: Organized colorful and beautiful. And knowledgeable staff. And the prices: They can compete with most online stores. I got a lot, for low price. And this is what I expect when I walk into home depot. They lost me as a potential customer for furniture’s, and earned me as a customer for the gardening.

Average Home Depot store. Convenient location close to I-95 and I-287 with plenty of parking. Regular building supplies availabe but frequently the item you need is not in stock. Customer service could be better too. Finding someone if you need assistance is not easy. Everyone you approach works in another department!!! The store is OK but really needs to improve on stock control and customer service and overall could be better.

When you walk into a store to spend thousands of dollars you expect not to be treated like you are a burden or an inconvenience. This is exactly how my mother and I felt when we walked into this home depot today. We weren’t greeted and all we received were sighs and grunts. The person there said he would call someone and walked away. We waited 5 minutes before I went to track someone down. I’m actually sitting in home depot right now writing this review as we are still not being helped, some guy came in after us and this knucklehead I found started helping him instead.(I started writing this review 10/2014, forgot to finish it!) We decided to see when our original associate would be in and were rudely snapped at telling me that they couldn’t tell us. I repeated back to her that she couldn’t tell me when the only associate that I would conduct business with would with be back in and she again snapped at me a with a firm no. I will not do business with a company who doesn’t have fundamental customer service skills. I can’t imagine the nightmare we would face if we purchase here and something goes wrong.

The most dis organized and messy home improvement store I have ever been in. Shelves were left with boards that resemble the letter S as opposed to I. Does the Home Depot really think that people are going to buy this stuff? I realize there is a lot of turnover but atleast pull the crap wood off the shelf so the customer won’t have to.

Terrible customer service! Returns lady rude. Most of the customer service desk was rude or couldn’t help. Ordered online for easy pick up at customer service thinking it would be a more streamlined service — it wasn’t. Sharon was very sweet but most of the employees just standing around not offering help. So frustrating! This is why people move to Florida — for the southern hospitality! Aargh, Portchester!

Order Quartz counter tops from HD in PC… long delay due to issue with the supplier… But Jen from special orders was on top of things the whole time and always kept me informed… The store made it right too… I’d be confident to order again.

What’s to say! The Home Depot is excellent everything home and garden. It’s the go to spot for anything you need! We are pricing out new kitchen cabinets but I always shop here for my garden stuff, flowers, vegtables, pots, soil, mulch etc. I never leave this place without something! Annnnd they offer 10% off on most items excluding sale items for military personnel! Hurrah!

The garden center here is great this time of year. They have a ton of cool and colorful perennials and really cheap prices compared to local nurseries. I realize they can’t compete with corporate monsters like Home Depot but what can I do? My gardening budget for the season goes so much farther here. I priced out 15 plants at my area shop, and for the same price I wound up getting 20 plants, 8 bags of soil, 2 bags of fertilizer, and 5 bags of mulch and 2 planters. Yes I sold my soul to ‘the man’, but… what a deal! :)

Haven’t had any issues when shopping here like some other reviewers. Well, there was one staff member who worked the paint section, but it wasn’t an issue where I left livid. So no, no issues here. Their gardening section is great. My family and I are trying to grow some vegetables this summer(I don’t have a green thumb), just because I’m sick of going to the grocery store and never being able to pick up certain veggies(like onions) because they’re rotting. Seriously. You know how hard it is to want to cook meals when you can’t use onions? It’s very frustrating. And I keep forgetting to check Whole Foods for them, which makes me even more frustrated as I come home and realize, «Crap, can’t make this dish for dinner tonight because I don’t have onions. Nice job space cadet.» And now, as I think about the five pots outside as it’s pouring rain, I think my plants my be drowning. Anyway, so the gardening section is great. They had organic seeds and soil at decent prices. The soil smells terrible and my dog tries to eat it, but what can you do? The paint section has lots of options, and buying the samples is a great way to paint half a wall, if you so choose. It helped a bunch as I tried to pick a color for my bedroom wall. I literally ended up painting each wall a different color and then picking that way, so yay for lots of paint. Boo for the bright colors being difficult to actually paint over, though. The guy who sold us a gallon this weekend told us to come back with the lid if we ran out. Well he told my mom that, I was off looking at other color swatches, so I’m not sure if he meant for free, or at a discount, or what. Staff is generally helpful. We’ve never had issues finding someone when we needed help. Check out is easy because it’s the self checkout at the machines. I wouldn’t use the installation services here, though. We had that done when I was a lot younger, and they did a terrible job.

DONOTGETBLINDSINSTALLEDTHROUGHHOMEDEPOT!!! This has been the single worst customer service experience of my life. The blinds were cut incorrectly and no one was able to fix the problem for me. There is absolutely no level of customer service. Even the managers(Kevin, Dan) were horrible unhelpful, unapologetic and difficult to speak to. They have absolutely NO business acumen and zero customer service skills. Worst Home Depot experience ever. I will never go back to this, or any, Home Depot for anything, ever again. I plan to tell absolutely everyone I know to do the same. Are negative starts allowed?

Worst home depot ever! Return policy is dictated and changed by manager on whatever products he wants and at any time he wants. CUSTOMERBEWARE! Currently sump pumps are not eligible for a return per manager Kevin.
