I’m reluctant to give out low stars. I try to see the good and experience the quirkyness or difference of each place but Good: Private rooms Kind staff Not Good: Answering phone during massage Coughing Staff walking in from outside and touching cell phone, not washing hands.(mind you… it was my feet. but still!) Language barrier. I couldn’t figure out what type of massage I was getting. Combo… confused me. I read the brochure a few times. I wanted to have a simple massage next to my niece… right there, I pointed and asked Seemed unorganized Didnt feel relaxed

I really like this place. The massages are awesome, but the last two times I’ve come the two ladies are constantly yelling at each other. I thought massages were supposed to be relaxing, but when you can hear the two people consistently yelling at each other at the top of their lungs it makes for a very unpleasant experience. It’s more expensive than Happy Feet which is one strip mall over and I never hear them fighting. And they consistently do a great job.

I would probably give it closer to a 2, but i feel bad for them and hope with reviews they will improve. The massage was not terrible, but they put you on your stomach and never had you turn over and spent so much time on my back and it was too much of one thing. Also, they had no concern with talking in your ear to their co-workers. I believe there was an issue with someone not wanting to give a tip(which of course is rude and very frustrating) but to start yelling and upsetting the ones who might give you a tip makes no sense either. They were even answering the phone in my daughters ear as she was getting a massage! So although there parts of the massage I enjoyed, they have a lot to improve in their type of massage for me to return, which is a shame, because I am a regular at getting massages.

Great massage, however a few issues with this place: they were talking for about half of the hour and my masseuse even answered his phone twice during it, which I think is SO unacceptable. It just takes away from the serenity and peacefulness of the experience. And because he had his phone in one hand, he was only massaging me with his other hand.(Annoying.) Also, they only massage your back and in most places you turn over halfway through the massage. It’s nice when they massage the front of your legs and get all of those muscles on the front of you massaged. So all in all, even though it was a nice massage… I most likely won’t be going back there. :/I hate to write bad reviews but really feel strongly about this one.

Was left with my feet in lukewarm water, only then to turn cold, for over 15 minutes before I finically got up, put my shoes on and left. Never mentioned to me they had to wait for an employee to drive over, but doesn’t help the lady couldn’t even speak an ounce of English. I don’t mind trying to communicate with someone who can’t speak English, but I guess I should’ve known what I was in for when general hand gestures and motions showing you need a foot massage instead of a full-body massage because your pregnant, still gets the same blank stare back that you would get talking to a pet. I will admit, by the time the guy got there he found me waiting in my car(husband still got his lovely massage) he offered to take me but at that point I was just over it. The one in Ventura is MUCH better.

1 hour massage for $ 35! Either whole body or foot and back. And you don’t have to have undress. I love old Asian lady massages. Don’t expect much talking from them bc they don’t speak much English(which I like bc I like to zone out and relax). Highly recommend, very clean.

I got an hour foot massage from Jack. I felt so relaxed when I left, he did a wonderful job. The place was very clean and comfortable. It was just what I needed after a day of Christmas shopping.

After visiting the channel islands area, I stopped to get a massage at Max Relax in Port Hueneme. Jack, the masseuse, was very professional & knowledgeable. That foot massage was exactly what I needed before heading back home to Orange County. I highly recommend this massage spa.
