Unfortunately this place was recently remodeled and still has issues. The staff is overall helpful and friendly (much better than they used to be. Portion sizes are an issue for some people. I personally don’t need a huge portion. (I mean come on, it’s Taco Bell) I wis the speed of service was faster. They always seem to be slow. Overall they get an A for effort. I just hope I can edit this review in the future.

Portion size is terrible. I’d you order a burrito bring a scale. Their burrito supreme is small. Same with the steak and egg burrito. The tacos were filled properly. Staff would not correct the order

This Taco Bell location at 790 Ventura Road in Port Hueneme was closed and a whole new facility was built on the same address. Unilocal is still listing it as «Closed.» It is not. It opened two days ago. I went today. The Staff is hard working, courteous and caring. They made a mistake on my order. My taco shells were ½ full. The manager took care of my issue. I love Taco Bell.

This location was demolished and completely rebuilt, from the foundation up. It reopened yesterday, November 14, 2014. I have not visited yet, but it looks a whole lot better from the outside. All that said, it’s still Taco Bell…

I’m so glad this place finally closed! The service was horrible the portions sucked, quality was horrible, the cleanliness was disturbing. I’m extremely glad it closed down.

This place needs a major cleaning at the very least, and a complete remodel at most. It always has the slightest smell of either an unclean nursing home or dirty diapers.
I wonder if the regional manager is satisfied with the condition of this place when he/​she visits. The décor is extremely outdated or falling apart. It’s not very clean either, especially the outdoor seating area.
I recognize this is fast food and not a four star restaurant, however there is a basic standard to which all food service places should adhere. The condition of the building has not improved in the year I’ve worked near here, and in fact I believe has gotten worse.
I will say I’ve never had a problem with any of the employees, the are always efficient and somewhat friendly.

I went there for lunch today. Was very disappointed with the lack of meat in the tacos. I know this isn’t a five star establishment but come on some meat with my tortilla would be appreciated. I specifically ordered supreme so they would put enough in. But they did not. Very disappointed Taco Bell I will stay away for awhile. Maybe next time ill ask for meat with my taco.

first of all this is fast food. we stopped here because we were in the area visiting family. we were hungry. the restrooms were clean and fully stocked. in my experience, if the eating facility has a filthy bathroom, the food is just not going to hold up to all sanitation qualifications. yup I don’t want to come out of there with food poisoning. the food was tasty. while the dining area was clean what I did notice is the general neglect of the dining tables. they need a new paint job. the employees we encountered were very friendly. bottom line people this is a fast food place not some five star resort in paris france. I would eat there again
