Gates Construction

We were referred to Gates by my mother-​in-​law who was happy with their work. Our experience was quite different. First they didn’t show up for the estimate. I called to find out what happened and they rescheduled. They arrived for the estimate and said they’d return to do the repair the following week; they no showed again. I called to give them another opportunity to schedule the repairs, and again they didn’t show up. Both times they blamed delays due to rain, but we hadn’t had little rain (if any) the week the repair was first scheduled and the second time it didn’t start raining until the afternoon. The whole reason we called them was to have a leak in our roof repaired, so time was of the essence. Needless to say, we called someone else. A phone call letting us know they were not showing up or were not interested in the work would have been appreciated.
