Huge amount of cigars in the humidor. Joe and his staff are very knowledgeable and welcoming. Comfortable atmosphere with great people to sit and relax with.

Great spot to grab a cigar and chill with good people. The atmosphere is excellent, and for a small fee, you can join the club and take in all it has to offer. Comfy seating. Weekly events. TVs for sports. Great staff. Great whiskey(when you bring your own!). I am proud to be a member here.

I love this place. Joe(owner) is highly knowledgeable and the members lounge is a perfect spot to relax with the boys. Saturday’s are a blast. Good mix of locals from all walks of life. Combining byob/liquor with quality cigars and good times ensue with the conversations that follow. No topic is sacred. Flame is low key and unpretentious. If you want suits and a vainglorious show, go to NYC.

This place isn’t very impressive, came in looking for a box of Acid Kuba Kuba’s for a wedding. The clerk with the red hair didn’t know what I was asking for, he gave me an outrageous price to have them in the store once he found them on his computer. He was short with me and unprofessional. Won’t be coming back at those prices!

They have an excellent selection of cigars. The staff is always helpful and really know there stuff. You can sit in the front window and smoke on the two couches. If you are a member they have a beautiful member area with lockers and couches and some other amenities. The prices are pretty reasonable, especially being downport. If you are looking for a great cigar definitely go here.

Being a cigar enthusiast I’ve given this place three chances, and been disappointed each time. Recently a friend called me and asked if I wanted to meet him here for a cigar, it was 10:30 on a Friday night. He called and was told they would be open until 12. When we all got down to the village at 11we were met by a locked door and a person at the counter shaking his head as for us to go away. Great way to do business. Outrageous membership fees followed by nasty staff. No thanks I’ll go to a real professional cigar lounge.

Taking a stroll around the LI marina village of Port Jefferson, I was enjoying all the shops and cafes then come upon Flame Fine Cigars & Smoking Lounge. As I like a good cigar, I was drawn in to check the place out. The front area of the store is well done, ample displays with quality merchandise. The owner/staff was quick to come up and ask if I needed anything and I assured him I was just enjoying looking around. The walk in humidor itself is pretty good size, and it had a great assortment of cigars to choose from. I saw a few favorites and was impressed by the others seen. One can be sure to find something to like in this selection. Next door to the humidor is a relaxing sitting room type cigar lounge that is very casual and has a TV and a lot of comfy chairs to choose from. Not too dressy but nice enough to sit back and enjoy yourself watching TV with a cigar. This place felt very comfortable and with the good selection in the humidor, the nice accessories on display to sell, and the attentive owner/staff, I’d call Flame a good place to enjoy a cigar once in a while. Bottom line: Nice casual cigar shop and lounge area. Great selection in the walk in humidor and a comfortable sitting area to enjoy your selection and watch some TV if you choose. I like this place, well done.

OMG, I’m getting old. I’ve been stopping in this place for over a year and I never noticed the name change?! I walk in and see smokers just chillin’ in the main lounge area. My transaction here are always: walking in, go into the large humidor and grab a stogie or two, then bolt out. No need to chit chat. Someone comes out of the lounge and asked if I need help. I ask what’s with the name Flame and is Scott still the owner? Nope, A former employee now owns the store. The past owner just bolted, like a puff of smoke. Regardless of who owns the store, this is a great place to kick back and smoke a stogie in the Port Jeff area. Plenty of great cigar brands to purchase, so stop in and browse!
