I’ve been to this salon twice now and I will definitely not be back! The first time I went I came with plenty of images of the hair color and cut I wanted– I should have been skeptical when my stylist barely looked at them and immediately started mixing color. I wanted to change my hair up and add some low lights to my light brown hair for a darker look-​not a huge difference but it would have been a big change for me. After using all over color and then a glaze, I left with my hair a very dark shade of brown– almost black! I didn’t even notice she cut my hair– looked completely the same and only took 5 minutes. The number one comment on my new-​do?
My second trip to the salon was even worse than the first. I went in to have my roots touched up and the tone of my hair evened out, to break up that solid black-​brown color. My stylist complained during my entire visit that she was sick and wanted to go home. She had to re-​do my roots twice and I still ended up with bright red roots that were clearly not the same color as the rest of my hair.
I decided that night that after paying $ 200 for color, I was going to go back and have it fixed. I called and scheduled an appointment with the salon manager for the next day. I was then called 4 times that next day to push my appointment to a different time– my stylist was running behind, my stylist had dinner plans, my stylist had family obligations. I was patient with all this because I needed to have my hair fixed asap but in no way was that professional behavior. When I finally got there, the manager could see immediately what had gone wrong with my hair. She called it «hot roots,» said it happened often and that she had to fix her stylists’ mistakes all the time. The manager ended up fixing my roots so that my colors matched, but overall my hair did not look anything like how I wanted.

I am new to town and was very nervous to trust my hair to someone new. I made an appointment with Frankie for a cut and color. I have never been so happy with my hair as I am now. He expertly found my color, although it was from a different product line and my highlights really pop, without looking too contrived.
His cut was phenomenal and is the first stylist to ever make me love my hair when I left the salon, as opposed to making me want to run home to brush it out!
The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is out of his control. I don’t like sitting in a retail space for a hairstyle, but I will continue to in order to keep Frankie as my regular stylist in port orange!

Love this Ulta! Had fantastic partial foil, cut with Kim and OPI nails with Melissa. Came back a few weeks later for second OPI nails plus a deep conditioning treatment for hair… HIGHLY recommend… leaves hair so soft… with Kim. Returning in two weeks for another OPI nails and full foil! Kim and Melissa are amazing, but everyone in the store and salon area are super friendly and helpful. One employee helped me select a new flat iron and I absolutely love it… blows my old one away! The makeup and general overall product selection is terrific! We are recent snow bird residents and this was my FIRST time having my hair done by anyone other than my regular stylist at home in, well, I can’t remember when. I was nervous but Kim put me right at ease. I got back and my husband loved it and he never says much :) anyway great place with great staff. Will be my go to spot from November-​May and bonus! Located in the Port Orange Pavilion, close by with lots of amazing shops. Add in Ulta rewards points for purchases including salon services and I couldn’t be happier! Highly recommend!

Wow — as soon as I walked in the first time, I fell in love! :) The staff here is super friendly and is knowledgeable about the products in which they are selling. The salon is top notch and the stylists are very professional. Ulta is constantly running sales where you can get a sweet deal on hair products, makeup, and hair tools/​accessories.
The best part about Ulta — they offer everything to the average Joe (those that aren’t licensed).
