Academy of Dance

This is my daughters 3^rd year with AOD and so far so good. She has loved it. The owner Carla is great at answering my questions promptly via email which to me is awesome. I don’t want to have to wait for a response. The frequent communications are great for keeping us parents up to date on what is going on. They use their own dancers as student teachers which I think is great to show the other dancers what can come with hard work. The performances are amazing. I don’t mind having to watch the 3 times a year because the dancers are just so skilled and talented that I get to see something different in each performance. Now that my daughter is in ballet 3 I have instantly noticed a change in instruction. It’s more strict and seems to focus more on form and proper technique which i find to be a good lesson for not only dance but life in general. We only do one dance class a week but we are still given the same opportunities to audition for extra parts as those who are there more. Price wise I feel they have competitive and comparable to other after school activities. And I like that they offer a discount if you pay prior to the 1^st of the month. I would and have recommended the AOD to anyone who asks about dance classes for their child.
