Went today to eat for Mother’s Day. We got a table right away. The service was not bad for a busy day. Fish and chips were great! The turtle cheesecake was amazing! Great view from my table of the runway. Very friendly servers. We will be going again.

Hands down best fish n chips i’ve ever had, and I love fish n chips. Even beats Cape Cod fish n chips in my opinion. This is always a must stop for family when they’re visiting and its immediately their favorite too. Not to mention their amazing coleslaw! I’m not typically a fan of coleslaw but theirs is a sweet, creamy coleslaw that makes you want another bowl. I’ve never personally tried their burgers, or anything other than their fish for that matter, but my father absolutely loves their burgers so they must be pretty good. Definitely go when its a beautiful day so you can watch the planes come and go from the window.

We’ve heard rave reviews about this place so decided to take my mom here while she’s in town. We had a table cleaned quickly and sat down. The waitress brought our water and took our orders… the food took forever to come out and it wasn’t busy. The kids macaroni and cheese is nothing more than Kraft which is disappointing. The fish is. okay, it’s 90% batter and grease but its still decent. My husband and I ordered burgers he said his was good, mine however was uneatable it tasted nothing like a hamburger and was so dry, it literally Sat on my plate with one bite out of it the entire almost 2 hours we were there and the waitress wasn’t around, the drinks were empty and never asked if we wanted more. Overall very disappointing seeing as people really like this place. We’ll never be back, oh and the burger I didint even touch wasn’t taken off the bill. That seems like common sense to me but whatever lol.

Well, went for dinner tonight and thought I would try something other than the(outstanding) fish. DH stuck with the tried and true cod & chips. That was good, as always. I thought I would give the chicken fried steak a try. Waitress assured me the mashed potatoes were«real» potatoes so I went with that. When the meals arrived, I found the steak and mash buried in so much country gravy, I had to unbury them. WAAAAY too much gravy. Underseasoned gravy over underseasoned potatoes and, yes, underseasoned steak. Ugh. Why can’t chefs today put a little s&p on things as they cook? It makes SUCH a difference in taste. It’s not the same to season after the fact(at the table) as it is to season during the cooking process. So, three stars is as much as I can muster and that’s mostly on the strength of the fish and chips and the always great Cole slaw. What I had was forgettable, at best.

I will tell you a secret If you Like fish and chips go here! We have been going for 20 years and never had a bad meal. If you like general aviation the view of the runway and planes landing is a plus.

Decent food. Bbq ribs were ok. Fish n chips ok. My fries were really good. The clam chowder was good. Brought our meals out about 5 minutes apart. Not good. Coffee was ok. Wait staff seems bored. The ambience is cool. I’m not an aviator, but I appreciate plane artwork.

We waited for 25 minutes just to get someone to take our order then 10 more minutes just to get our drinks. While waiting I decided to drink the water but it was horrible tap water; obviously unfiltered. It wasn’t like the place was packed so there was no reason for the poor service. Ordered the breakfast scramble with a side of gravy. When the food came it was biscuits and gravy which I did not order. Scramble was ok. They have hidden costs they don’t mention like 25 cents extra for Texas toast. All in all a poor experience and was disappointed after reading the great reviews.

Went in at around 2 in the afternoon, plenty of people there. Décor was pretty cool with the model planes. Waitress was good and pleasant. Had the two piece cod fish and chips, it was amazing. I love local places, dives etc so this place met my standards perfectly. I’ll be back for sure, recommended by a co-worker and they were dead on with how good the fish and chips are.

Don’t order prime rib dip sandwich. It’s dry and salty. They shave over-cooked beef and warm it up later in a frying pan. Awful. Stick with something deep fried.

After hearing good things about this diner and it’s Sunday brunch, my fiancée and I decided to check it out. I looked on the website for the hours of the brunch but couldn’t find it so we headed over. When we got there, I saw the sign of brunch from 10a-2p. We got there at 9. I will say that the brunch hours are listed on the website, at the very bottom of the Catering & Brunch page. It’s a place that has lots of regulars with a big sign telling us to seat ourselves. We looked around and saw a few tables near the windows facing the runways but they hadn’t been cleaned. We found a table in the upper section and took a seat. Now, with it being at an airport, the theme is planes and they are all over. The waitress was friendly enough and the food itself was good. The pancakes are huge and the bacon was good. If this was the end of the review, it would be 3 stars. The reason for the 2 stars and my «Don’t go» is the dirt and dust. Remember how I said the theme is planes? Well there are a bunch of really nice models hanging from the ceiling. They are covered in inches of dust. Guess what you are getting an extra helping of everytime the AC kicks on? That’s right, the dust/dirt is landing in your coffee, water and your food. I emailed the owners about this and waited to post the review until I heard back from them about this issue. No reply so I decided to go ahead. On top of what falls from the sky, the tables and tabletop signs were sticky. It really needs a seriously deep cleaning.

What happened to this place? we had breakfast there this morning, and it was a total let down. the only server was older no personality and seemed like she was there because she had to be. the food was disgusting, we were never able to say any thing because she never checked on our table. my eggs were ordered o m but we’re like hard tasteless rubber. the corn beef hash was nothing more then potato with a few shreds of meat. .My wife’s eggs Benedict was horrible, the muffin was rock hard eggs well done hollandaise obviously canned. this is the 2nd bad breakfast experience there. I doubt we will rrturn.

If you are a connoisseur of fish and chips, stop and go no further! This diner has absolutely the best Halibut and Chips in Kitsap county, possibly on the planet! Spending $ 20 for the 3-Piece is worth it! Nom nom nom! If you live fish and chips stop here!

Flew in here midweek for lunch, we had the blackened salmon sandwich and the chicken BLT. Both of our meals tasted good and the proportions were good. The only thing I think could have been improved would be the French fries & the buns on the sandwiches. The restaurant has a great atmosphere(especially if you like airplanes) and is kept in clean condition. The pictures I’m posting are from lunch but I’ve also ate breakfast here, which was amazing! Hint, get the sausage links instead of the patties, you won’t regret it! Overall the lunch was okay(3 stars) but the breakfast was good(4stars), leaving a 4 star review for the combination of food + atmosphere.

In the modified words of Marshawn Lynch, «I’m only here for the fish and chips.» While this may be the case, they have some other solid items on the menu and the portions are generous. While it could use a bit of an update, I realize that the majority of the clientele couldn’t care less what the place looks like. The staff is friendly and attentive. We had fun taking our daughter here, because it’s right on the runway of a small airport, and you can see planes taking off and landing. The fish and chips: Amazing. Probably the best I’ve had in terms of freshness. They have the perfect amount of flakiness, the fish is market fresh, and it always comes straight out of the fryer to your table, so it’s piping hot! Prices are reasonable, and I’ll definitely be back.

Great food, great ambiance, and great servers. I love their fish and chips, in fact, I love everything these guys serve. You have a wonderful view of the runway from almost every seat, and I love taking my kids there.

I love having Saturday morning breakfast here! Friendly, cozy place with good food and service. We had biscuits and gravy. Comes with hash browns and two eggs for only six bucks. The only negative would be the bathrooms and furnishings need to be updated. Especially the bathroom. Love the place.

I have eaten here a couple times with friends, and always enjoyed it. They have the best fish and chips I have had in a long time. Last night we also got some clam strips as an appetizer, and they were very good! Not chewy, nice and plump, perfectly cooked. Even the cocktail sauce was good. But the best part of the meal is their carrot cake! OMG it’s good. The best butter cream I have ever had from a restaurant, and the carrot cake is a perfect mixture of ingredients. It is so good, I was fantasizing about eating it, while I was eating it! I will definitely make sure to stop there whenever I am in the area, if nothing else, for another piece of carrot cake.

Service was good. Food was pricey for the quality of it. People were nice. Our son enjoyed the airplanes hanging from the ceiling and taking off on the runway.

A morning appointment in Belfair led me to stop at the diner for breakfast. Grab a seat near the windows overlooking the airfield for added entertainment to your visit. I ordered the regular, eggs over easy, hashbrowns and dry wheat toast. A fundamental for any diner to prepare. The food arrived quickly and the waitress dropped another order at another table and circled back to ask if I needed anything else. I’m a Tabasco fan so I requested some. New patrons are greeted and served up water and the waitress makes another pass by the table and mentions in passing that she forgot the Tabasco. After a couple more minutes she comes over with a bottle of green Tabasco(I had asked for red) and peels the plastic off the bottle and passes it to me. The eggs were ok, although one was a little closer to over-medium and the toast was dry as requested. The hashbrowns were interesting. They had a nice crisp on them but were very dry. Not a drop of grease on them. I don’t know if the cook made them that way because I had asked for dry toast but those hashbrowns were severely lacking in moisture. I don’t know if I would go out of my way for another trip.
