It involves precision, timing, strength, and skill in extremely dangerous conditions, in all kinds of weather, and all of this must be done on a daily basis without losing sight of our # 1 objective– making YOU a happy customer. History

Established in 1982.

Ron Rider began Northwest Tree Service while still working for South Kitsap School District at night. What began as a means to earn extra income for his family in his spare time, slowly evolved into full time tree work. With past climbing experience working for the phone company, it was not too difficult transitioning into climbing trees. Being in business is an evolution in learning all the skills necessary to perform a job well. It also takes a lot of dedication to put in all of the hours to keep a business running. From answering phones, to meeting clients to give bids, to doing the actual work,& performing all the required accounting and paperwork, it can be overwhelming. We strive to purchase good equipment so that we can be better at what we do, and more efficient on the job. Our goal is to continue to offer great service and expand our list of very happy clients.

Business Owner

Ron is married to Cathy, has 5 children, and lives in Port Orchard. Ron built his home using lumber milled from trees that he had taken down. He and Cathy love to travel to Mexico in the winter when the weather is not so nice in the Pacific NW. They also travel to Calif to visit family. Ron likes photography, surfing, and travel.
