History

Established in 2011.

Rendezvous Tavern is located on top of Mile Hill Road in the South Park Village shopping center since late 1960’s through a many change in business. Location first started out as a Cantonese Restaurant, then Captain K’s Restaurant which lasted for 10 years it then was taken over by Giotto’s Italian Restaurant then Shooters Pool Billiard, and Voodoo Lounge, and now Rendezvous Tavern making this place known for its Famous 212 Chicken wings and a Great local Hot Spot for local bands of all genre. Top Entertainers have been the Great European touring Bands Stone Axe, and Mos Generator. Others locals have been Klemetine, Downpour, Adolf Ketamine, The Abused, Sumer Finn, Rusted Skies, and Spunk Monkey

Jeff and Kris H.

Business Owner

Jeff while stationed at Schofield Barracks Hawaii met Kris in August 1990 and married November 1990, and the rest was history. They now have three wonderful children.

Jeff and Kris goals is to make Rendezvous Tavern a friendly stop, with great bar food, home like atmosphere with reasonable prices and great musical entertainment.

Seriously the only bar I go to in Port Orchard. Friendly environment the staff treats everyone like family. Great drinks and the food is way better than you expect. Especially for the prices.

best drink ever created, anyway. pretty good prices, delicious food. Staff is the best.
I don’t go out very often, but this is MY bar.
Live music. I’ve seen good and bad in this place. its local, next to the worst neighborhood in town, but its never over crowded, or filled with tweakers. so that’s a mega bonus in Port Orchard.
Go get Alien Piss… right now!!! GO!

This was the Voodoo Lounge. Now it’s Rendezvous Tavern. They have opened it up so that there is more light inside. They also have a small inclosed outdoor area where you can sit outside. Prices are not too bad. Parking is plentiful.

Great neighborhood bar. This location has been a few different places over the years but this place is great!
Jeff the owner and his son and wife are very personable and great! Not a huge menu but food is cheap and tasty. Mon and Wed 50 cent wings and they are awesome! If you like super spicy try the hot wings with sauce on the side, they are amazing!
They have specials every day. Thursday happens to be my favorite day because its $ 8 pitchers of microbrews! Plus they have sliders for $ 2.50 and it comes with fries!
If your looking for a local hangout just to enjoy a drink, you have to check this place out. My absolute new favorite Port Orchard hang out.

I wish I could do a 2.5 star… It wasn’t «A-​Ok» but it was better than «Meh. I’ve experienced better.». First off, I drove right by it and didn’t see it. It looks like a furniture store or some other storefront in a strip mall. It does not look like a bar. The food was «A-​Ok» and at a good price it seemed. It didn’t have a lot going on inside it seemed. Not a lot of places to sit yet it was a large place. Didn’t seem like a place you would feel comfortable hanging out.

Great place! Was there last night for the live music. It’s very big, with a great stage and dance floor, two pool tables, and a half dozen TV screens. Probably the best cheese sticks I’ve had in a while and the drinks were well made.
One small issue: a friend ordered a soda and got a tiny glass for $ 1.50, which I thought was excessive. The other prices seemed reasonable tho.
Definitely recommended.
