History

Established in 2007.

West Coast Carriers started with a basic idea of how to do trucking in todays economy and maintain customer integrity by performing a valued service and remaining ethical. I have been in this industry over 22 and ethics and integrity are two words that usually don’t describe a trucking company. My original Idea started while working for a few companies that were going no where fast and treated customers as if they were easily recyclable. In 2007 I felt strongly about perusing my idea further, because I was laid off. I met my brother in law at a local bar and we began to discuss my idea in more detail. A few beers and about 5 cocktail napkins later we had our first draft of what I thought would be the ideal company to work for as well as to own. A few beers later and the idea was starting to sounding bullet proof. Within 3 weeks after drawing it out on a napkin in a bar — West Coast Carriers was open for business and continues to operate with integrity and ethically still today.
