Meet the Business Owner

Mark Anthony Z.

Business Owner

From Syracuse, N Y, Chef «Z» began at 14, with Houlihan’s Old Place in Ft. Lauderdale, Determined to further his carreer, he joined Pier 66 Hotel & Marina and became the Executive Sous Chef. Moving forward, he went to work for the Doral Resort as Executive Banquet Chef, The next step in his culinary career took him to the Peabody Hotel, in Memphis, as Executive Chef, It wasn’t long before he met William and Norma Horvitz, a world class family from South Florida, working for this prominent family as their Private Chef. His desire to open his own concept restaurant in the town of Tradition in Port St. Lucie became a reality. They say bigger is better, well Cornerstone Bistro 2 has now been open for 4 years at the Shoppes of Veranda Falls. It has a private dining room for up to 12, with full liquor and a wine list second to none. Then venturing next into an oceanfront property on Hutchinson Island he calls «THE INN» at Ocean Village. What’s next for the Chef? Only time will tell.
