Michael L.
Business Owner
Michael has been roasting coffee for over 30 years. He began in Brooklyn, NY and has owned cafes and restaurants in Vermont, Rhode Island, California and now in Port Townsend where he is raising his three children. His oldest daughter, Sadie, has worked for the café since it opened in May 2009.
Michael has a passion for roasting the finest organic, fair trade coffee blends and has received rave reviews from locals and tourists alike. It is not uncommon for a customer to remark, «This is the best cup of coffee I have had in years.»
Michael loves the café culture and enjoys having people who want to come and enjoy a great conversation with friends over a great cup of coffee or who want to come work on their laptops and take advantage of being out in the community.
