Prices were cheap & there was no limit for credit card, which I greatly appreciated. Unfortunately the the quality was poor all around; from eggs, to bagel, to even the gratis tiny OJs thrown in, which were Hood brand. I haven’t been to a Bagel Boss in a few years @ least but I remember other locations ranging in quality from solid to good, so for now I am going to assume this review is only relevant to this location. Often times an established franchise will license only the name out and have no other affiliation with the spin off(i.e. Patsy’s Pizza, in NYC, of which only the original East Harlem location is legit).

I went there for lunch yesterday(and today) and had the eggplant wrap(fried eggplant, cheese, peppers and tomatoes) and macaroni salad which was good.(Total: $ 5.45) They have different kinds of tuna and vegetarian choices(no meat). They also have desserts, vegan chips, all kinds of Snapple and Vitamin Water. The food was cheap and the service was friendly.(And anyplace that has Snapple Apple is okay in my book.)

I’ve only been to this location once, but I thinks it’s better than the Carle Place location. The set up is completely different. This locations looks cleaner, and overall it’s smaller, but they seem to have a better choice of items. I’ve never seen mini Black and White cookies or The Chocolate Babka at The Carle Place location. I did try the Black and White cookie, and I thought it was really good. To be honest, I usually do not like most B& W cookies. But, what made this one good, was the actually B&W frosting. It was fresh and not too sweet. The girl that helped me, was really sweet. I like their Iced Coffee at both locations. The bagels are the same at both locations. One thing that disappointed me about The Carle Place location, I’ve been overcharged twice, and I remember it was the same guy to overcharge me. It was something I realized after I left. Anyway, it makes sense to go to the location, you happen to be closer to at the time. However, if you do not like The CP location, you might have a different opinion of this location.

Up from Philly for a wedding so my bagel palate may not be up to the scale of you New«Yawkas». This was the most tasty bagel I’ve ever had! I’m not a cream cheese guy so I only had my bagel toasted with some butter. I had a cinnamon raisin and plain bagel and they both seemed to be very fresh. That’s not always an option at 1 pm. All in all the best bagels I’ve ever had.

plus factors: this place has a nice parking lot and very sanitizing and nice interior for a bagel store they do have some healthy stuff here! and cream cheese and salads here seems fresh! :) minus factor: the food here is over-priced! and i find their bagels a bit to hard. I would like it a bit more chewy/soft.

Nope. Got a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel. Maybe it was the weird(read: healthy) bacon that was pink and soft. Maybe it was the odd texture of the eggs and cheese. Maybe it was how the bagel itself wasn’t that good. Maybe it was how completely ridiculously overpriced when compared to other breakfast haunts in Port Washington. Doesn’t matter why, but I won’t be back.

There were bagels and lox with homemade cream cheese. Tried the shallot and garlic cream cheese, and it lasted for meals for the next few days. I am now officially a fan of lox due to this place alone.

Solidly good bagels, decent coffee, friendly service. My biggest gripe — and the reason I cannot go above three stars — is that twice they haven’t toasted our bagels, despite specifically requested said toasting. But the line moves quickly even on a crowded weekend morning, and when toasted, the bagels are definitely«A-OK». It’s no A&S( ), but when I don’t feel like driving very far, it suffices.
