Landmark on Main Street is housed in a historic building that was built in 1908. Originally a school, it was renovated and reopened in 1995 as a mixed-use community center.
The not-for-profit Landmark on Main Street Inc. runs a successful performing arts program and speaker series in its 425-seat Jeanne Rimsky Theater which is also available for rental opportunities for theater and dance performances, benefit concerts, body-building competitions, piano and dance recitals, film screenings and many other types of events.
We also manage and rent the Doctors’ Gymnasium for sporting events and parties.

Each season we present exciting seasons in our beautiful 425-seat Jeanne Rimsky Theater. Landmark has hosted successful performances from our popular Children’s Series to Icons of the Folk and Rock Worlds: The Bacon Brothers, David Bromberg, Buckwheat Zydeco, Judy Collins, Shawn Colvin, Steve Earle, Alejandro Escovedo, Richie Havens, Janis Ian, Indigo Girls, Garland Jeffreys, Rickie Lee Jones, Lucy Kaplansky, Jorma Kaukonen, The Klezmatics, The Kingston Trio, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Darlene Love, Bettye LaVette, Shelby Lynne, Raul Malo, Aimee Mann, Joan Osborne, Graham Parker, Tito Puente Jr., Josh Ritter, Tom Rush, Martin Sexton, Michelle Shocked, Richard Shindell, The Smithereens, Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes, Taj Mahal, They Might Be Giants, Suzanne Vega, Loudon Wainwright III, Jimmy Webb, Susan Werner, Dar Williams and Peter Yarrow.
