History

Established in 2015.

We started making our own brand of seasonings and decided the best way to showcase them was to do what there made for, put them on meat. We use local woods to smoke all our meats and even some sides. There’s no frier, microwave or even an oven on our trailer. Everything is cooked on the wood fired rotisserie smoker.

Slow smoke BBQ Served Fast!

Brisket, Pulled Pork, Chicken, Sausage Roll, Tater Grenades and Sides.

I’ve been «BBQ’n» for years. A couple years ago I built my first smoker and entered a couple of cook-​offs. I did pretty good so I thought I’d try my hand at smoking meats for a living. It’s worked out pretty good. Everyone says they like it so we’ll keep going.

I’ve been looking for a place in Kalamazoo that can hold their own against some of the stellar BBQ joints in Charlotte NC and I think I’ve found it. I had the pulled pork sandwich which came topped with homemade coleslaw. The meat was I readily tender with nice smoke rings and a crispy outside. The slaw was a nice compliment to the pork and balanced the sandwich nicely. I’ll definitely be back to see what else they have to offer! Keep up the good work guys!

The smell of BBQ brought me in. The taste of the meat will keep me coming back for more! Wow Ö wow. Hefty meaty portion. Even the WHO report that bacon causes cancer can’t keep me away from this meat fest on wheels. Thanks for brightening up my Wednesday at the Unilocal food truck or treat event tonight! We were at a party yesterday evening catered by lazy man. It was all absolutely delicious. The brisket was delicious and amazingly tender. Pork was delicious, but the chicken was what stole the show. The flavor was absolutely amazing, a great combination of smoke and seasoning. We just couldn’t stop eating the chicken!
As far as sides go, the beans were good and lots loved the cucumber salad (I’m. It a fan of cucumbers so can’t attest myself) and the cole slaw was absolutely delicious with a bit if a dill flavor. We’ll definitely have to seek them out some time as I’d love to try some of the other things they make, especially the tator grenade. .. Sounds deliciously interesting.

I’ve only been once but it was so delicious I’m heading back today @ Bronson Park for lunch. So many yummy things to choose from & the portions are huge!
