History

Established in 1990.

A Word In Edgewise, Inc. was founded in January, 1990, in Asheville, North Carolina. What began as a Data Entry firm, moved on to Graphic Design, then to Print, Video Production & Editing and Tape Transfers to CD/​DVD. We celebrated 20 years in business in 2010, 13 years in Portland, Oregon.

Business Owner

I am active in offering volunteer time and company donations throughout the community. I spent several years volunteering with Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD Mutnomah/​Hood River Counties chapter) and served one year as an Oregon MADD State Rep. Also spent several years working with area teens in TV production at MetroEast Community TV. Recently completed five years volunteering on the Board of Directors with the Oregon Holocaust Resource Center (OHRC) and a brief period on the Board of the Portland Area Business Association (PABA). My company supports organizations dedicated to fairness and equality such as HRC, BRO, GLSEN, SMYRC and the OHRC.
