Abbott & Associates Professional Placement., was founded in June of 2002. A certified Women’s Business Enterprise, Emerging Small Business, Equal Opportunity Employer, a uniquely quality driven organization specializing in delivering professional local and nationwide placement and temporary help services.

We take a consultative approach to client needs. Realizing that a single solution approach does not work for everyone, our service offerings accommodate the flow of our clients’ demands. This and our relentless pursuit for excellent service makes Abbott & Associates unique and progressive.

History

Established in 2002.

We originated in Southwest Florida and then opened up our Portland, Oregon office a year later due to a client request. We have grown organically over the years.

Meet the Business Owner

Joan W.

Business Owner

Graduated from San Diego State University, worked for an Executive Search firm, later went with a larger staffing company and learned the temporary/​contract side of the business. She grew into management, opened a new office for them managed multiple offices. She then moved to Oregon, joined the cellular business and held several roles with McCaw, Cellular One. While there, she knew she wanted to own her own staffing business so she took the leap from a great company to get her feet back into the industry. She worked for this nationwide staffing company for 6 years before starting Abbott & Associates, Inc.
