History

Established in 1976.

TDM began in 1976 as a telecommunication consulting company and telephone interconnect. In 1985, one of our clients with unhappy telephone customers requested our help in developing a telephone on-​hold customer entertainment program.

After nearly two years of testing and development, TDM introduced Ad-​Hold to the marketplace, mainly to large clients such as Weyerhauser, Carnation Dairies, and First Interstate Bank.

During this development period, we discovered the secret of effective verbal communication advertising. We found most competitive and radio-​advertising companies write their ads backwards, making them impossible for the listener to retain any information. This turns out to be a waste of money for the client.

By 1989, TDM had restructured the product pricing to be cost effective for all businesses from small mom and pop stores to large regional and national companies. Ad-​Hold currently has clients from Alaska to Florida and we have received the Portland Chamber of Comme
