Established in 1999.

As the daughter of a real estate broker I learned the ins and outs of this business early on.

I was first licensed in 1999 in Arizona selling new homes for Pulte in Scottsdale. After moving to Portland in 2000 I joined Prudential NW Properties in 2001, working with the #1 Portland Prudential Team for 10 years. In 2011, I joined Knipe Realty, then a new company, a leap of faith. My best career decision so far.

Alicia is awesome! She recently helped us find our first home and we are lucky we found her. We had lots of questions that Alicia was easily able to answer and explain in ways we could understand. She was extremely patient while we searched and always available to show us houses whenever new listings came on the market.
Once we found the house we wanted, Alicia helped us negotiate the best deal possible in a very difficult situation. She informed us of all of our options and did not pressure us to make decisions. She offered friendly advice and wisdom she has accumulated from her years of experience.
Once our home was under contract, she made herself available many times at the property to coordinate inspections (different inspections for: septic system, electrical, plumbing, hvac, oil tank decommissioning). She also coordinated with contractors to help us get bids on work that we planned on doing. This was invaluable and saved us lots of time.
The best part about working with Alicia to me was how easy she made everything, despite our situation being very complicated and difficult. The entire process of buying our home was extremely stress free and there were no surprises along the way. I cannot imagine a better experience and would recommend Alicia without hesitation.

I own multiple rental properties in Oregon and Texas. I have had amazing realtors and fired realtors for various reasons as well. I bought a house using Alicia and she was fantastic. I was looking for a house within commuting distance to Salem but still close enough to Portland. I had little knowledge about the market in the Portland or the areas To stay away from and she educated us thoroughly. I looked at a number houses all over the area in various Suburbs and the city. We finally found a house in Wilsonville that was perfect. She always made our efforts in finding a home a priority and worked tirelessly to find the right home for me. She never pushed me to find a house at a higher price than what I originally wanted to pay (which most realtors do). She had my interest first no matter the situation. She was highly flexible and always reachable. Buying a house can be stressful and having a realtor who is as responsive and experienced as her is crucial when in the negotiations stage. The housing market was absolutely crazy as many know in Portland and having the right realtor for negotiations and finding a home is a must when buying here. She was with us from the beginning at every step and even showed up after I moved in to make sure the home was what It should be. I will absolutely use her again.

It was a pleasure working with Alicia with our recent real estate transaction. We found her very attentive, honest and knowledgeable of the local market. Ours was a 1031 exchange which requires strict deadlines. We also had a list of «must have’s or would like’s» that she worked hard to find for us. She made herself available in our very restrictive availability. While we were out of town and the area was having heavy rains and flooding, she took it upon herself to go double check on the house which was empty and in escrow, to make sure it was ok. Highly recommended!
Alicia was such a tremendous help in finding our forever house! She was straight forward, honest, and extremely knowledgable when it came to the housing market and neighborhoods in the Portland Metro. She worked with us on a very tight schedule to see as many houses as we could that lined up to our wish list. Once we found «the one», she was very intimately involved during our escrow period and was eager to help with anything she could. This was huge for us as we were still living another state over. Not sure what we would have done without her!

Earlier this year I was in a tough situation. I had purchased a home in Hillsboro, OR just 6 months prior and needed to sell due to relocating. I found Alicia on Unilocal.I figured with all the positive reviews I couldn’t go wrong. I was right! Alicia was so helpful. She started by giving me realistic figures for the sale of my home. I let her know what my break even point was and she let me make the decision. There was no heavy sales pitch or pressure to sign a listing agreement right away.

My husband and I chose to work with Alicia based on very strong recommendations from two family members who used her as their realtor when purchasing their homes. We were not disappointed! This was our first home buying experience and Alicia made the process seamless. We relocated to the area from across the country and she was able to provide valuable insight into the different areas that we were house hunting in. She took the worry out of what can sometimes be an overwhelming process and took the time to explain everything that we were unfamiliar with. My family relocated to Oregon due to work and began the daunting task of searching for a home in this crazy real estate market. My wife and I chose to work with Alicia because of her consistently stellar Unilocal reviews. We hoped that after she helped us find and buy our own home, we too would be able to add our five-​star review. Alicia is a «10-​star» if we ever saw one.
Alicia listens carefully, responds thoughtfully, and has plenty of experience (in the trenches, where it counts). Her knowledge of the area and her connections with other realtors and service people all worked to our benefit. She is amazingly generous with her time and attention. Regardless of the intensity of activity, Alicia has always exhibited grace under pressure, and has always been on top of the situation.
Plus, she’s fun to be with, and is a genuinely decent, kind person.
She won our hearts early on, when she told us that she limited the amount of buyers & sellers to five each, because she found that she could provide better service herself rather than shuffling clients off to assistants. Then, when we met, we expected her to ask us to sign a standard buyer’s agreement. When she didn’t mention it, I brought it up. She stuck out her hand and said «If you find me valuable, then work with me. No need to sign a contract.» Nice, right?

My wife and I met Alicia after TWO coworkers (that did not know each other) both recommended Alicia for a real estate agent. After our first meeting with Alicia, she has us sold. We were first time home buyers and Alicia made us feel excited, confident, and comfortable that we were going to get the right house. And, she guaranteed us that she wouldn’t let us move into a house we neither couldn’t afford or couldn’t maintain. If you’re looking through these reviews it’s probably because you’re in the market for a realtor. Stop. Now. I’m serious, stop searching. You will not find a better realtor than Alicia.
When I told people earlier this year that I was seriously considering buying my first home I was inundated with loving warnings. «It’ll be worth it, but be prepared to be stressed.» «You’ll have to look through 100 homes before you find one that you like even a little bit.» «Everyone will try to talk you into a home you can’t afford.» «Closing time is a nightmare.» Luckily I was too distracted watching Golden Girls reruns to really hear what they were saying otherwise I may never have taken the first step.
None of this was true with Alicia. She listens to you… really listens to you. She won’t try to upsell you, or feed you a line about a home just to close a sale. I really appreciated her honest opinion about some of the places we saw. I also appreciated that she never showed me a place that was outside of my range.
Other things that stand out about her are:
*Her personality– she is so likeable and immediately puts you at ease
*Her ability to explain (in simple terms) the intricate process of buying a home
*The way she handled the negotiated repairs with the sellers when they became difficult right before closing
*She never made me feel like I needed to follow up with her– she was «on the ball» with everything
*She has connections (lender, repairs, inspection) who can be trusted
*How she followed up with me well after I bought the house
I wish I could give Alicia 100 stars. She’s that good.

Alicia was awesome — I cannot recommend her enough! We found Alicia from reading reviews and decided she would be perfect to help us buy our home in West Linn. Little did we know that we were getting the best!
Since we were moving from California, all of this had to be done long distance. Alicia went above and beyond our expectations. She previewed all the houses we were interested in, gave us her honest opinion about homes and was there for us every step of the way. Alicia helped to coordinate everything that we needed done… new roof, new furnace installed, inspections, etc — all while we were still in California. She was always one step ahead of us in taking care of things. She was extremely professional and is so experienced… we had no worries! When we flew up for our loan signing, Alicia was there to make sure everything went smoothly.
