AM 620 KPOJ

Fox Sports Radio is a dismal replacement for the great politcal talk radio that was ripped from us.
There are other sports radio stations but there was only one progressive talk, now that is gone we have to go to the internet and search, not a good deal for PDX listeners

I listen to KPOJ just about every day. Whether it’s getting ready in the morning, or listening to and from work each day they are my go to talk show radio station.
Honestly it wouldn’t be the start of the day without hearing ‘Gooooood morning. I am your host, Carl Wolfson, here with producer Paul Pimentel…’

I agree with Tanya D. Way too many commercials. Randi Rhodes and Norman Goldman are the two best shows, in my opinion. I usually like Thom Hartman but he is always promoting a new book. Carl Wolfson is too local. I live in the San Francisco Bay area and couldn’t stand listening to «Green 960, The Quake» anymore. Stephanie Miller is to silly and they guy in midday, Korrel or something like that was like having to sit in a beauty parlor for three hours. KPOJ is better than most progressive stations. The problem is you hear the same promos and commercials over and over again. «I’d like to report a bear sighting». «Tips from Flo from Progressive». «How to childproof you home, how to childproof you yard. etc»
And Mike Malloy is just a left wing version of Rush Limbaugh, very angry and annoying.

An shining example of how progressive talk radio should be done. Air America + a few hours of drive-​time programming in the morning + a few minutes of local news/​weather/​traffic on the hour.
My quibble: I could do without Malloy.
