I agree with others. WORST COMPANY!!! They can’t get anything right, its as simple as pulse sensors that I need for my daughter to make sure she’s breathing. You call & call, week after week begging to get the dang things in the mail but NOPE! So here I am sitting up nights watching my baby so she doesn’t stop breathing on me. Thanks APRIA I HATE YOU! The funny thing is I order the same thing every month, you would think they can just order it again… If you want to die use APRIA, they don’t care!!!

My baby was early and I needed the UV light therapy at home. They dropped off the equipment within the hour. They took the time to show me how to use it.
When is came time to return it, my Dad dropped it off for me. He got their at closing, and they found someone still clocked in to return the equipment, so I wouldn’t have a late fee. They went out of their way for us, and I appreciate the effort.

Horrible I have been trying to get supplies for my patient for the past week. I have talked to a good 8 different people and yet they all have the same answer «I don’t know why we didn’t get the supplies to them when he ordered them 3 weeks ago» HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service. I will not choose them to send any of my patients to again.
I wish this was the ONLY patient that I have had problems with trying to get them needed supplies. Apria is always loosing orders or chart notes that we send then blaming us and then the one that ends up with the bad end of the stick is the patient.
Stay away… far far away.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!
This company is so screwed up… they can’t get an oxygen order right no matter how many times I try. Wrong address, wrong amount of cylinders, don’t leave the cart that’s ordered… Sad part is, we’re stuck with them because of Kaiser. If you have a choice, and I truly hope you do, pick another company! Any company! You’d have better luck calling Subway… Seriously! These guys SUCK!!!

Zero Stars for Apria.
From the lies they told at the beginning of my dealing with them at this outlet, to the billing questions they’re simply unable to answer, the entire experience with Apria was the worst I’ve ever had with any company before.
The terrible fact of the matter is, I’ve paid them thousands to lie to me consistently over the years due to their «deal» with my insurance company which says I HAVE to deal with them.
Recently, for a large sum of money, I freed myself from Apria by purchasing my own machine from another company. It was very expensive but I will own it instead of being on a lifetime payment plan with Apria. That’s right, you can’t own one of their BiPap machines. They bill you for a year and then twice a year another bill rolls in… forever…and ever… and ever… with no end to the money stream.
I’ve never seen an accounting process as shoddy as Apria uses.
You can’t readily see what they’re doing in their billing. They’re really good at calling you if they think you owe them money, but beyond that, lackluster in any other form of communication which tells you what the company priority is.
Now, as for the BiPap machine. They bill my insurance nearly 900.00 a month for a entire year. Thats over 10,000.00 billed to my insurance in the first year. The machine can be found online for 3,000.00 or less depending on whom you buy it from.
They collected from me, 177.00 a month for a year. That’s 2,124.00 in that first year paid by me.
After that, they billed me twice a year 177.00 or 354.00 a year forever. FOREVER.
So, that means that just from me, after THREE AND A HALF YEARS, Apria will have collected the entire retail sales amount the machine is sold for from me. Not to mention what they collected from my insurance. I bet if you added in whatever amount my insurance pays them, Apria has the full retail value of their lifetime billed machine within 1 to 1−½ years.
SCAM if I ever saw one.
So happy I finally purchased a machine from someone else so that I can never ever have to spend a dime with Apria. Never will buy anything from them again.

I used to deal with Apria in Boise. My experience there was quite positive. In over 2 years I have been unable to get the Portland office to respond to me in any way. Even Apria’s other offices can’t seem to get any feedback from them.
I definitely recommend finding a different company to deal with if you’re in Portland.

I hate it when they call you and ask you to verify your date of birth its a very rude question To ask someone I can’t stand it the person who called today was a real jerk

They don’t return calls. Jennifer is completely incompetent and doesn’t do her job. She was supposed to sign me up for auto replacement and was reminded twice and told me twice it was done. Of course I received nothing. Called three times before I received a call back where she claimed to be out sick yet the day of my first call is when she shipped out the product. Hmmm wonder how that happened. And at this point it should have been clear to her she didn’t do her job she again didn’t bother setting it up. So again a month later had to call again. She never called back so I had to call corporate. And it wasn’t until I threatened to drop them was I actually signed up properly. I am going to file a complaint with corporate.

These folks have the WORST Customer Service and follow up I have ever encountered. You call them and are in an endless voice mail loop. The right hand has no idea what the left is doing. They make you stay home all day long because they can’t tell you when they will be there to deliver. or pick up. The drivers have little to no Customer Service skills.
If you know anyone who has oxygen needs use anyone else but these folks. They are always sorry and offer excuses, but nothing changes.

I so concur with the 1 star rating for this business. They NEVER return calls and I’ve always had to wait on hold every time I call. After calling a second time on Thu last week to check the status of an order, I was put on hold for 1 minute and then was ask to hold on a little longer. I explained that I had phoned a few times and it would be nice for someone to return my call when they were not busy. Forward to Mon and I phoned for the 3^rd time. I was told that the person I needed to talk to would be in at 9am and I should call back then. I again ask for someone to return my call. It is afternoon now and I’ve heard nothing. Imagine, I am just trying to check on an existing order? I am not sure how these people remain in business. I am going to see if I can cancel my order and place it with a more responsive company.

TERRIBLE BILLING PRACTICES. I work in Healthcare, and the way this company bills is so vague, it ought to be criminal. I’m unable to get itemized copies of orders for CPAP supplies or even my machine. it’s a full on racket. And I tried to discuss it with my insurance company, and they just frankly did not care. I’ve asked for an itemeized list of every item, supply, and filter I’ve been charged/​insurance has been charged for on my account. They’re supposedly mailing it to me. We shall see…

Run away, far and fast! I would not even give this company one star if they had lower ratings available. I have been dealing with Apria for over 3 years now because my insurance company insists. I have to use an oxygen concentrator which I apparently will pay for monthly for the rest of my life — I will never «own» it no matter how much it costs. Their bills are vague, no details about what you are being charged, and are impossible to figure out. If you ask for packing slips or copies of anything, you will be completely ignored. The right hand never knows what the left hand is doing in this company, and they have no communication between departments. My account is always billed incorrectly; I got more help from their collections department in straightening things out than from anyone in their so-​called «customer service» or billing departments. (They sent my account to collections with no notice to me at all; fixed the problem and then sent me back to collections a second time.) Don’t give them a credit card number; it will be used for anything and everything, even if you don’t owe it. I have reported them for fraud to anyone that will listen and would definitely not use them if I had a choice.

This place is a joke. Beware this Company will keep charging fees to your credit card. even after you return the med equment. then trying to a refund is a joke. I will not ever use this company again. I think they screw insurince companys
going to report this company. use at own risk.
