Specialties
Summerplace Assisted Living is a 102 apartment community of 86 assisted living apartments and 16 memory care apartments. We offer six levels of care and our staff are very stable. We are known for being able to care for higher levels of acuity than some communities. Our primary focus: having compassionate caregivers and provide top quality care.
For our residents, we want them to be independent just as long as possible. We have a full-time personal trainer on staff who can work with a resident to rebuild their strength or work on balance issues to reduce falls. Most recently we had a state survey and received a perfect score on both the assisted living and memory care side. In 2012 we received the American Health Care Association Bronze Award for Quality.
Stop by and see us — we truly care about our residents and would love to introduce you to our community.

Meet the Manager
Grace H.
Manager
Grace is the Executive Director of Summerplace Assisted Living and Memory Care. Prior to joining Prestige Care in 2011, she was the Executive Director for Sunrise Senior Living in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.
Grace’s experience includes over 20 years experience in Human Resources, and also took care both of her parents for almost 15 years. She made a career change after her mother’s experience of having heart surgery and coming out of the surgery with dementia. The long-term care experience was not what she expected and at the end of her mother’s journey, Grace said «there has to be something better than this.»
She changed careers and went into assisted living and memory care management. «I’ve truly found my passion. I don’t want other families to have to experience what my family did,» Grace says. «Regardless of where you locate your loved one, you are always welcome to call and ask questions or get additional guidance. There is not such thing as a dumb question.»
