Founded by Dr. Lin Carson, BAKERpedia aims to be the go-to resource for every ingredient and process question experienced in the baking industry. Over the years in the research and development field, Dr. Carson has experienced a dearth of information with regards to vital ingredients and processes. With the growing number of younger bakers, she believes that this dearth needs to be filled to cater to the overworked baker. BAKERpedia is the solution, because most bakers and food developers, like yourself, have limited time to spend on researching an ingredient, formulation or process. BAKERpedia has a scientific team of researchers and writers who have compiled and summarized the information that you need to enable you to be more efficient at what you do.

I live to bake. I attended the Ohio State University and Kansas State University to learn food and baking sciences.
In fact, I’ve dedicated my professional career to making the world a better place for bakers everywhere. In 2012, my vision to improve commercial baking processes became BAKERpedia.com.
BAKERpedia.com is the culmination of my lifelong dream to improve food production worldwide through baking, and is home to The Commercial Baker’s Encyclopedia™. Created with today’s busy bakers in mind, we aim to be your go-to resource for every commercial baking ingredient and process question you experience.
