History

Established in 2008.

Gregg Robinson started Balanced Energy Solutions to create awareness and educate individuals about how a home’s occupants, materials, and natural environment affect the indoor air quality, comfort, durability, and energy use.

Business Owner

Owners Gregg and Amy Robinson bring unique skills and histories to Balanced Energy Solutions. Prior to starting BES, Gregg worked for the Energy Star New Homes Program, an Energy Trust of Oregon certification and rebate program for builders that is administered by Conservation Services Group. While on the Energy Star New Homes Program, Gregg assisted in delivering building science presentations to builders, sub-​contractors, and local technical schools trying to meet program standards. Amy — who runs the day-​to-​day operation and oversees office and administrative duties at BES — has a background in customer service and management.
