Description

Specialties

Develop the length of a dancer and the strength of an athlete with our highly effective 60-minute workouts. Our classes use the ballet barre to improve posture and core strength while supporting precise movements designed to lengthen and lift the whole body. Proper alignment and form are emphasized with attention to the success of each client.

Benefits of a barre3 workout include long term postural support, strong, lean muscles, decreased risk of injury, and for many clients, weight loss.

Bring your kids with you! Child care is provided Monday through Saturday for $ 5 per session.

History

Established in 2008.

Barre3 opened it’s first studio in Portland’s Pearl District in 2008. Today we teach over 200 classes a week in six studios in the Portland area. In addition to teaching clients we train all of our instructors and franchise partners (at last count 99 locations) worldwide right in the Pearl District. We are proud local business owners and so thankful to have such a warm and vibrant client base.

The 3 in barre3 symbolizes balance, a core value of our business, practice and life. Our classes are designed to transform the body to one of equal balance, strength and flexibility. And, the company we are building is based on the notion that work is a balanced and integrated part of life.
