If higher than normal prices and zero customer service are your thing, then this is the auto store for you. Honestly, I have quit this store a few times but keep ending up back there because it is so close to my house. There are plenty of other auto parts stores, so I’d like to think this is the last time. After mentioning at checkout that an item was several dollars cheaper at Napa, the clerk suggested I could just go there. Good idea, man.

I’m a fan of any place that treats me like an actual human being instead of a guy with a wallet. I’m not a gearhead by any means but these guys treat me like any other customer.
I like to come here to get an air filter every once in a while for my truck. It’s better to pick one up here for seven bucks rather than paying 20 bucks at an oil and lube place for them to change it.
Haven’t ever had a bad experience at this location, but it’s not like I come here all the time either.

The last couple of times I’ve been in there the help was pretty worthless. The last time was right after the Portland Roadster Show. While at the show I receive a 10% off coupon from the Baxter booth there. I was looking for a carburetor and they didn’t have it at the show but I was told I take the coupon to any store and receive the discount on the carburetor I was looking for. I go to the Oak Grove store and they tell me they need a manager’s approval before I can get the discount and he wasn’t there and I would need to come back the next day when the manager is scheduled to be there. Nice. The time before I was there I was told they don’t stock 3/​8″ fuel line. Really? Most cars I’ve owned use either 3/​8″ or 5/​16″. The kid I talked to obviously didn’t really care and made very little effort. All this being said I will say Tom is great! Very helpful. The rest of the kids there really don’t give a rip!

CUSTOMER SERVICE… Do employees NOT understand there job or is it they just don’t give a crap? I have to say, I think it is that they think everything is OWED to them and they have no work ethic! (Not all but a MAJORITY)
I went in here this morning for a few things and there were 5, YES 5, employees and 1 customer, ME… do you think one of them could even offer to say good morning let alone see if I needed help? NO, I was in there for 15 min. and a lady and young daughter came in and obviously could not find what she was looking for and still, NO HELP from the employees as they were still to busy telling each other how tired they were and how it was SOOOO early to be up (it was 10:45 am!) and what they did last night!
GIVE ME A BREAK, fire them all for goodness sake! I went and offered to help the lady and then made a scene and proceeded to share with all 5 employees how worthless they are and that there are people out there who WILL work and deserve a break.
Man, do these people just think everything is handed to them? This is what is going wrong with this country. Be responsible for yourself as nothing is owed to you. Learn how to work and EARN your living and quit looking for someone else to give you a break or a hand out.
