Great little novelty/​joke/​kitsch shop that probably suffers from not enough foot traffic on NE Glisan.
It’s a little hole in the wall (be careful not to walk into the tattoo&piercing joint next door or you may leave with a hole in YOU) packed with interesting, funny, and just plain weird stuff. Aptly named indeed.
Novelty stuff can be a bit pricey considering probably everything is made in China, but they do have some cheap things that would make great gifts for kids of any age (adults included).
The bacon flavored mints are perfect for the vegetarian in your life who misses the taste sensation of cooked swine.

I LOVE this place! It’s closest thing I’ve found to my most favorite (1950’s) toystore. He’s got every thing from the gross to the sublime. Other local specialty toy stores (you know who you are) beware… As an autism specialist, I have to say he has the best selection of sensory toys and reinforcement items I’ve seen in the metro area. This place is ABSOLUTE paradise for toy lovers of any stripe. The owner is a fantastic diversion as well; he knows every toy in the place and it’s history. This is a MUST SEE! I’m letting the cat out of the bag…
