I had Best in Concrete expand my front walkway. I met Sue and Billy and they were very friendly. They gave me a bid and were able to start in only a couple days. They kept updating me while doing the work by sending me text/​photos while I was at work. The work looked great and they finished on the promised date. They even came back twice to fix some dog footprints! Very pleased with the outcome and definitely recommend. A++!!

Bill was very communicative throughout the entire process and even came out to the site twice when I had questions about the process. I am really glad that I had Best in Concrete do this job. They had a Five man crew that showed up exactly when they said they would and the end product was even better that I thought it would be. Bill’s son Emili stayed behind and put the finishing touches on the patio. His attention to detail and craftsmanship are outstanding. We just had Best In Concrete Services expand our driveway, put up a mini wall in our front yard, and fix all the cracked and uneven sections on our sidewalk, curb, and driveway. Bill and his team were professional and nice. They were well priced, punctual, great with communicating statuses, and did amazing work. These guys are real craftsmen! They tinted the new cement and they scored the cement to match the existing cement so it would all blend in. They built the retaining wall on our front yard to match our landscaping too! It is beautiful! My husband and I were very impressed with their quality of work. They worked hard too and completed the project in just two days. We couldn’t be happier with their service and we are so glad we found them.

We just moved to Oregon and were looking to eliminate some of the soon to be muddy mess on our side yard — before the real rain started. I looked up concrete services on Unilocal and came across Best in Concrete.
Bill and Sue came out to scope out the job on a Wednesday, and the job started 7am on Thursday! We had an idea as to what would work best for the design of the walkway, but Bill knew what was really needed to do the job right and he was great in communicating those ideas. He kept in constant communication via text and photos so I could see the progress they were making and he made me aware of any changes to our original plan.
After framing the job he said that although we were scheduled to pour on Wednesday (the first sunny day) he would come out sooner if the weather cooperated. Tuesday morning, 7am, they were there with the truck and started pouring. It’s now Wednesday, and the job is finished! Everything turned out better than I ever expected. He even did an additional walkway to adjoin our deck and exposed the aggregate on the curb at no additional cost.
Bill, Sue and the crew are great people, and were a pleasure to work with through the entire process. I could not have asked for more!

I live on a corner lot with a huge amount of sidewalk. It was all going bad and all of it needed to go. I wasn’t going to replace bits and pieces and get cited by the City down the line, so I needed a Masonry Genius right away.
Enter Best in Concrete Services. With that claim, they aren’t kidding around.
Thursday, the day after I contacted them Bill and his wife Sue – extremely personable, friendly people – surveyed the property, gave me a quote, and texted me their ID and CCB licenses which were all in order. Of course I had already researched them online. He continued to text me photos of the process, the permits, and photos and updates throughout the course of the job. I paid a deposit so they could get the permit to work on my sidewalk. Bill said that the job would be done by next Friday, before the rains came.
Even though they had a funeral to attend, they were back with a small crew the next day and in 3 hours had scooped away two-​thirds of my 1920s peanut brittle sidewalk and hauled it away. Skip a day and they finished demolition and had aggregate tamped down in two-​thirds of the run within 8 hours. On Monday the crew finished the aggregate and forms and on Tuesday they poured the sidewalk! They even color-​matched several pieces so they would better blend with my existing masonry.
Who does a big job like this in less than a week?
Bill does.
When his crew is working, Bill is the hand and they are all the fingers, with Bill’s son as the thumb of the operation. No more than six people working in unison, quickly and efficiently in blocks of three to eight hours. The jobsite is always clean when they are done for the day. These are not the usual contractors who hold you up with delays and excuses. Remember, Bill is from a very different culture and when he says something, he gets it done. I actually trusted him to follow through, and he exceeded my faith in him by quite a bit.
Tuesday night I sat up until 9PM to keep idiots off the sidewalk. At 3AM they still came but the damage was minimal. Bill left his oversized custom barricades up until the following Wednesday as the pavement cured and lost many of them to theft. He didn’t have to do it, but he cared about his work enough to risk his investment. Communication, quality, integrity, hard work, attention to detail, and value for one’s dollar – all of these are wrapped up into one package with Best In Concrete Services. I cannot recommend them more highly – six stars would not be enough to express my opinion of Bill’s professionalism and integrity.
Prepare to be surprised!

Best in Concrete Services was in the neighborhood doing other work (see Lance B.) so I asked them to take a look at the removal job I needed done. They quoted me a good price, which included a discount for already being in the area with everything they needed. The started immediately and my family left around 11 AM to head out for the day. We returned around 6 PM that night and they were 100% complete with all concrete removed and only dirt left behind. They even leveled out the other areas of the backyard, took some other piles of debris I had in the yard, and left the entire area in much better condition than I thought it would be left. We are now ready to have fill dirt delivered and soon start planting grass. Thanks to their quick and hard work, we are well ahead of schedule and so far under budget.

To the Skeptic:
You don’t need to look anywhere else — you found Best in Concrete and you must give Bill a call.
First off, I am always suspicious of contractors. I work hard for my money and when I part with it, it comes with steep expectations. I thought that for my backyard patio project, I’d have to wait several days for an estimate, a few weeks (months?) for a summer start date, and a few weeks after that for completion.
Bill came on a Tuesday night. They started work the very next day. He promised that he would be done within two weeks. He brought a team of 10 guys and finished the project in FOUR DAYS! Who does that? They ripped off my patio deck, removed old two foot concrete slabs, and cleared my backyard by 10:00am the first day. His team of hard workers were always professional to my wife, kids and neighbors and I am in love with my new backyard patio.

My husband and I were planning to build a paver patio but thought we would get estimates in a concrete one first to see how much it would be. We got 2 estimates and Bill’s was ½ of what the other guys would charge! Plus he was able to do the work right away! 1 week ago I called him about getting an estimate, and today my beautiful patio is in my backyard!
Bill was great to work with. Very communicative. Always let us know what was going on and texted pictures. His crew is his family and they were all great and even friendly with my excited little kids. :)

I called Best in Concrete services based on the great Unilocal reviews. I scheduled an estimate, they were to come out on a Saturday. After waiting an hour after their scheduled arrival time, I texted them. They said they had a family emergency, and had texted all of their clients for that day, except me. They said my number was the only one they didn’t have. OK, I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. They texted me they could come out the next day, which didn’t work for me. I texted back that the following Tuesday would work. No reply, no phone call, no nothing.
I’ll try someone else who will follow up.

We called Bill and Sue after reading all there stellar reviews on Unilocal,and boy am I glad we did! they came out to our house and gave us a great estimate on our patio and we able to start work on right away! Bill and his crew even showed up on a holiday to get the whole process started, and got to work on creating a stunning patio for us. Even when we ran into extra costs half way through, they made up for it bu adding an extra sidewalk for us. They did most of the finish work while we were out of town too! Which would make most people nervous, but I got more updates and pictures from Bill, then I could ever ask for! They are a great family and Sues design turned out beautiful! Thank you!!! This was also all done in a week! So happy!!!

When we first met with Bill, he said «by the time we’re done with your yard, it’s gonna make your neighbor’s look silly.» And he wasn’t kidding. In one week, he and his crew removed our old driveway, front door walkway, back patio and half our backyard, and replaced them with beautiful stamped concrete. Bill explained what he was doing every step of the way so we were kept in the loop, involved us in the design process with his wife Sue, and even put the yard back together when the concrete was done. I can’t recommend Best In Concrete enough. Five stars!

Very happy with Bill and his family business. From start to finish he communicated and sent photos of progress Bill is a man who knows and loves concrete. My old driveway way overdue to be replaced, he actually showed up when he said he would and the work was completed on schedule. I was a little concerned as I was going out of town while the job was talking place. I had a texted photo every step of the way.
First, ripped the old concrete out in a matter of minutes. This guy was like a large-​scale surgeon — breaking up old concrete, yanking out grass and rocks with a 6 man crew, then deftly separating everything Then they got to work by prepping the ground, setting up the forms, and finishing the poured concrete expertly, even killed some bees that were coming out of a crawl space near the foundation of the driveway.
Bill’s work is outstanding, he went beyond the scope of work add some extra under surprises that exceeded my expectations. Plus they are neat, worked with my renters and built a ramp for them to access while the seal was drying. Their quality of work and work ethic is totally professional and worth the price you don’t have to worry — they’re gonna do it right!

Wow! What a go getter group! Bill and Sue were prompt and reliable when it came to pouring an extension off our patio. Bill’s crew handled everything from start to finish — they presented insurance right off the bat, and we were able to easily schedule the work in a gap in the bad weather so everything came out great. Typically, communications are weak with contractors, but Bill and Sue were excellent at communicating, perhaps over communicating at times, but I appreciated it. They were not the most inexpensive, but we felt good about them and the quality they would bring to work. Thanks Bill and Sue!

This company delivers what it promises! Great looking driveway repair! Tree roots had caused a section of our driveway to crack and heave. The crew showed up on time to remove the section of concrete to be repaired; hauled it away and even cleaned up the area, including the street before leaving for the day. The day of the pour was without problems. And they came in at bid price. Very pleased overall and look forward to calling them again for future work.

Bill and his crew were eager to please and did not disappoint! I had them replace the end of my ancient driveway with a wider, less sloped approach that wouldn’t scrape the bottom of my car every time I pulled in.
Bill and sue were out the same day to give an estimate, complete with a staked-​out layout of what the finished product would look like. As soon as I gave them a «go» they were back at the house within hours to get started.

I called for a quote on a small patio retaining wall. It wasn’t fancy, but outside of my scope and skill-​set. Not only were they able to come take a look at the area that afternoon, but they were able to come back the next day and do the entire job in 1 day.

Sue and Bill are lifesavers, I have been looking for a Concrete Contractor all summer to fix the sidewalk at my ill and elderly Mother’s house and no one would give me the time of day or even return my call.
I understand this is the busy season, but WOW. Hubby finally decided to use Home Advisor, submitted our needs and within 2 minutes (I am not kidding) our phone rang and it was Susan responding to our inquiry.
