Bit Consultants are based in beautiful Portland, Oregon, and love supporting local and sustainable businesses. We realized that both local and global economies could benefit tremendously from Bitcoin, as it offers a more transparent, efficient, and secure method to transact with each other than current economic and political systems. Anna G. and Ian P.

Business Owner

Anna has a formal education in sustainable business, global economics, and international business, as well as experience with banking and consulting. Her vision is to increase individual and local self-​sufficiency, decreasing reliance upon unjust economic structures. She is inspired by the decentralized, transparent, and all-​inclusive nature of Bitcoin, and has high hopes for its potential to facilitate peaceful grassroots initiatives. Ian is a technology enthusiast with a formal background in 3D computer graphics, web development, and audio composition. In 2012, shortly after reading the original white paper, he became fascinated with Bitcoin and the potential it offers the world. He has since been working on ways to simplify Bitcoin and bring it to the general public. Ian believes that the emergence of decentralized platforms will be a world-​changing phenomenon and wishes to encourage their growth along the way.
